When I was a child I encountered a lot of predators in online chatrooms. I was a very lonely child and had no friends at school, so I would often talk to random strangers on the internet, but I knew better than to go and meet them in person. But I did have phone conversations with some of them, I was home alone all day everyday after school, I was ignored by the adults and bullied by the other kids, so I was all alone and wanted someone to talk to, one guy I talked to was a major predator and said some really gross and spooky stuff to me, I didn't like it at all, but I was so lonely, I was 12, I was also very late for puberty so I had a very high pitched voice and sounded like a little girl, everytime someone talked to me on the phone they thought I was a 7-year-old girl. I wish I had known about the TV show to catch a predator at that time but I didn't, and if the show stopped in 2008, I was 12 in 2009... So many bad people out there. I don't think there are any good people honestly.

8 out of every 10 sexual assault cases, the perpetrator is someone known or trusted by you or someone close to you.. Females being predators do indeed happen much less than males bring predators but that doesn’t mean they don’t happen. What bothers me is when it comes to the attention/awareness that’s brought to male predators it is not also brought to female predators!!! And also the numbers bother me so bad, they are very disheartening, Out of every 1,000 sexual assaults only 25 perpetrators will wind up convicted and incarcerated.. we need as a society, as a country, to focus on changing laws, changing sentencing to were these creeps don’t get another chance at re offending!! I mean cmon most predators when caught have at least one other assault under their belt at that point and the majority of them reoffend.. These are the people in our society that I believe full heartedly that they do not deserve a second chance, when you sexually assault someone you are stealing their soul, their peace of mind, a piece of them… if you can disgustingly do that to another human being, you don’t deserve to get out and be in society, they don’t deserve the easy way out with the death penalty either, no. They clearly are f*cked up in the head so they can miserably sit alone with only their messed up head and thoughts in a cold solitary jail cell.. you steal someone’s autonomy, you steal their safety, their piece of mind, you don’t deserve to walk the streets. Period.

I really wish this stuff (predator catching) had been a thing that I had known and had the resources to when I was gr00m3d on discord a a year ago, what these people do to minors is sick and traumatizing. That actually had happened and it was to someone who relapsed on drugs and going to recovery centre and they stopped him almost missing his train. That’s why they always get the predators to send pictures of themselves
