My Tatay passed away 10 years ago. They played this song during my wedding. I danced with my uncle who was very close to me. I cried while dancing and whenever I play this song because I miss my father so much. I hope he's there. I didn't even get a chance to dance with him. This is the best Father and Daughter wedding dance song!😢❤

This December my lil gets married. So since last year and this year all the talk is about the wedding. Yesterday she comes up to me...daddy how we gonna dance and to what song? I held my tears in and had to make a joke about it. She goes why you starting to get teary-eyed? Cuz...I was cutting onions earlier. So this thr first song that came up when I looked daddy daughter songs. It's a beautiful song. I raised my kids by my self, two boys and a girl. It was tough, but now they're all grown and leaving my nest one by one. Been a single dad since 2006, they're MY WORLD. 😢❤😊

1:13 My dad adopted me when I was 2, he's always been there for me and he would take me on father daughter dates to show me the correct way to be treated by a man. I found this song and balled my eyes out, I went to my parents house and made sure my dad was gone and played it for my mom. She sobbed and said it was perfect, I decided I didn't want my dad to know... I kept our father/daughter song a secret until the day of my wedding. I gave a minor speech in honor of the man who raised me, and when the music started playing he started to cry and held me tight because I'll ALWAYS be his little girl

My dad is a pretty tough one. I didn't grow up having long conversations with him, hugging or saying the ILY's. He's pretty reserved and provides for us. So I treasured the occasional hugs on birthdays and Christmas. I would very much love to dance with him to this song at my wedding.

My little girl is only 2 years old but I can't help to watch this over and over and think about the day I get to do this. Not entirely looking forward to it but at the same time I am. I'm sorry for your loss. I loss my Dad 12-15-19 to being murdered. My sister got married last year that was a hard time looking at her knowing our daddy should be there. As dads, it’s our only wish for our children to be happy and I’m sure that’s all your dad would’ve wanted. I will pray for you during this time and pray that God will give you strength. Don’t think of your special day as one without him but think of it as a day closer to seeing him again. You’re given the strength to do this and to be happy. With God all things are possible. This was my song for my father's and my dance on my wedding, it's just so perfect, so simple but so unforgettable. Week later my dad had a heart attack, and he survived. And all I could do while waiting for news from hospital was listening to this song and remembering all the feelings all emotions... definitely the best dad and daughter dance song. Thank you for this

My Husband just avowed me this. We have a beautiful 2yr old that was a miracle and all I can picture is her with her Daddy when that day comes. Yet, makes me sad cause I'm a Daddy's Girl and I didn't have my Daddy at my Wedding cause he was mad at me and I haven't spoken to him in over a year and I miss him each day.
