I don't think they will add it to Japan, it wouldn't work. I'll put it like this, a sub-tree can't be added if it didn't have a WW2 industry, and considering South Korea didn't exist during WW2, it can't be put as a sub-tree. Instead, it will most likely be added as a small tech tree, similar to Israel in where it starts post-WW2. South Africa, Republic of China, Hungary, and Finland are all the sub-tech trees in the game, and all had a good amount of vehicles in WW2 and after. Personally, I think its safe to say a nation that didn't have any WW2 military industry, can't be added as a sub-tree. Instead, it would be added like Israel in where it starts in the early cold war rank. South Korea had a large military capability post WW2 during the Korean War, which gives Gaijin the chance to add a bunch of copy and paste Pershings, and any type of vehicle that South Korea at least had one of. If Gaijin is daring they could also add North Korea, but it would be odd to implement and barely anything is known about Modern North Korean vehicles. In terms of modern vehicles, South Korea also has plenty to fill out a tree and would be a pretty good minor tree just like Israel.

If PLAGF is close enough to deploy their infantry in Japan mainland, that implies both JSMDF and JSADF are effectively destroyed and a strong blockade stopping USN from doing anything. Civilian housing is probably least of Tokyo concern at that point.

@@SatouShiori because it isnt used by the Japanese armed forces to my knowledge. theoretically you could cover an abrams with era if you wanted but they don't and haven't. the reason for the tkx existence is to be light so that its viable for use in japans terrain.

@@daholl8942 you are right., but even gaijin can give us the f16aj , why not the armour mod for the type 10 as those boxes originally are mainly aiming for adding modular composite armour in it.

Wouldn't the doors be there to access the armor to replace it or remove it for transport purposes? It also doesn't make sense to have sheet metal boxes on the side with doors with no purpose

@@jessegm1 if you need to repair composite armor, you'd likley need to remove the entire plate to access it, so no, doors wouldnt help. That and as I said before, and as you can see with this tank, those plates can be removed all together, so why would you need to spend extra time removing composite from its casing when you can just move the whole damn thing? Also, (as I said), the fact that they need to remove it for weight related reason when transporting makes me think it may be used as spaced armor, which could imply that the plates are still hallow, but have more thickness then what's presented in game, kinda like the extra spaced armor seen on the Leopard 1. Also (as I said before) having doors to access the empty space of spaced armor could allow the crew to double it as a storage unit, or perhaps fill it with something as a sort of makeshift composite armor

@@nikolasfoulger1127 The steel box is no more than 5mm, that much is confirmed. The access door is there for storage reason, that part is also true. But per the source document, armor should be able to reinforced, around the turret front and side, as well as lower hull front, as needed. Some of the module are era. Now, weather they actually produce any of those those module is unknown to anyone. Because lots of project are cancelled for cost reason, such as domestic ct 40mm cannon, domestic universal hardkill aps, etc.

@@PAUL-ESNEED I work 10 hours or more a day and somehow did the math that I could just barely do the event. So I attempted to do it and now all of that is thrown into the trash because of Gaijin's buggy/trashy coding. I'm hoping they will answer my bug report and resolve this. I can only imagine how many others are getting roadblocked by this. This is so garbage and to make matters worse this isn't the only bug I encountered. Another bug I encountered was the parts not showing they are finished making you constantly refresh the parts list page. This one can cause you to accidentally cancel a part timer. Gaijin literally doesn't care at all and it shows. They make so much money off of the game but keep making terrible decisions over and over again that negatively impact people just trying to enjoy the game.

@@avalonplayz3889 you're not the only one. I remember doing around 15 times over and got the missile hit but nothing happened and somehow it's not faulted.... I really do hope someone makes a better tank game to end this monopoly so Gaijin can stop being a bitch as they want to

why? even in regular matches i only take one tank why waste more money on multiple tank repairs. when im min maxing silver lions and xp with playing more matches in the span of a hour. sometimes i might bring out my backups but other then that i dont see a reason to punish people. now punishing spawn campers i can agree on

It has less armor that we know of. They probably had more armor than what is shown in game. We all know gaijin only cares about armor accuracy when it comes to Russian documents that are (probably) incorrect.

As much as it would help, Korean players will be pissed due to historical relationship of Japan and Korea. Like, it's not like adding Ukranian T-84 to USSR tree. Unlike T-84 that's literally modified T-80UD, Korean K1 tanks are completely unrelated to the Japanese tank development.

@@harryshuman9637 Maybe they could rename the nation to "Southeast Asia" or "Western Pacific," then give SK/Jap/Phillipines/Singapore/etc. their own respective subtrees within that overarching nation? I know there's some tension but giving it a generalized location and their own specific subtrees (like SA in GRB, or FIN in SWE) may help ease that tension?

I think this is really dumb personally I have been playing the game for quite some time and now because of and update i have to go through the early game process again? Thats seems unfair. I have put a post on the forums but I got no dev responses. In total i think it would be around 100,000 rp extra which could be a few more vehicles for me. It would be great if you could put in a word for me but if you cant its all good

It’s funny cause on the type 10 kinetic wise FT IS 900mm of resistance, FH IS 500mm, ST IS 300, and SH IS 250. Chemical wise resistance FT 1500mm, FH IS 900mm, ST is 500mm, and SH is 500mm.
