@@dificulttocure I assume that you could run Jessica Jones, but with Maximus you can run it as a strong turn 6 play with Jugg, along with being a Dracula counter to finish games off. Plus, if you have Cosmo, it doesn't really hurt you as badly.

Today’s (7 May) featured location is The Nexus which doesn’t work super well with this deck unless you flood it. So I would wait until tmrw to start playing this deck seriously!

Thought so. Why the armor in your deck ? Just for Nebula ? And why the cosmo ? Just for Maximus ? Or is it to prevent them to doom or magneto on T6 ?

I've actually climbed 5 tanks with it this morning even though it is. I was already playing a similar control deck, but this is so consistent... no one expects The Claw! 🦀

@@IIToneAII Do you have Jeff? Then I m in the same case. I used my lockdown deck for 2 or three games but I got recked. Like they focus big pieces into nexus early or put cosmo and it s game over. So as usual, these hot locations days feel like russian roulette. Too much chance and too much surprise decks. I stay away for now.

@@dgeci No Jeff so I'm running Nightcrawler, but I'd either Storm it or Spiderman/ Prof. X it. Best things I learned are when to retreat if I only high roll, Snap any time you have a full combo in hand, and Cosmo wrecks all these discard decks if you save it for 5 with Dare Devil for their MODOK.

About cosmo he s quite usefull in the video. I didnt have him in my deck but I see his utility. Not sure about the armor. And I like doom in this kind of decks… Also lizzard can be a good option to replace jeff.

Still a good deck! Just hit infinite with my modified version. Was climbing really fast until High Evolutionary came out, so I added Luke Cage in place of Armor. And took a gamble and added Negasonic in place of Cosmo. Negasonic is off-meta and really surprises people for some cube steals. This deck loves Galactus matchups. If you can anticipate it Spiderman, Professor X, and Negasonic make Galactus players weep.

Great deck... but, HE has messed it up, lol. I am trying Luke Cage for Armor (since you don't see killmonger too often) and Shang Chi for Jeff (I know, crucial) to take out their Hulk and Abomination.

I talked on stream yesterday that half the cards in this deck are galactus counters 🤣 I faced one galactus player 4-5 times in a row and they retreated most of those games out of frustration.

Jeff is too good in this deck because of his flexibility and surprise element but you can try nightcrawler. With nightcrawler you have to be a lot more careful when to move/play him. Nebula is amazing in the storm/prof x lane but you can probably replace her with Sunspot or Rocket.

Nice deck! It looks like Armor's purpose is just protect Nebula. Is there a better card to sub in? I guess with the Venom buff it will do a good job disrupting destroy decks

It depends on what your opponent is running but I worry prof x or spidermaning the nexus on turn 5 might be too late in most cases since the max power we can put out on turn 6 is 10.

@@Gautier_Cpt darkhawk decks only when they get zabu out on turns 2-3 because they could put darkhawk into my storm lane. Thanos’ reality stone frequently screwed with my stormed location. So it’s not an instant loss to them but if they have a good hand then it’s a lot harder to beat them.

Spiderman is essential in this deck to lock your opponents out of playing on turn 6. Nebula can be replaced with Sunspot or Rocket but they won’t be as good as her.

Buy sharkboi for 6000 tokens, you won’t regret it. A cheap replacement would be nightcrawler but he’s nowhere near as good. With nightcrawler there’s no element of surprise, you can’t play him on last turn into a locked location and he’s weak to killmonger.

It’s not the easiest deck to play, you have to plan out thing ahead of time but once you get the hang of it it should be better. And like I said in the pinned comment, I wouldn’t play it today with the Nexus being the hot location.
