Thank you so much, Cali, for vindicating my friend, late, and I. We have been promoting playing pure D/D/D for a long time now. I've been playing this archetype pure because gilgamesh fixed the deck. The ceiling is lower, but the card economy and consistency is much better(especially with the new support). We would get crucified by most of the D/D community for playing pure and you are showing them why they are wrong about pure being bad! Thank you, Cali! We have finally reached a point where we can do and build this deck whatever way we want. I'm actually trying a new pivot to the build where we cut the fat, focus on the 1-2 card combos, and play trap control. You get interrupted? Ok, make machinex, set, pass. Bam! You get to keep playing yugioh. A big thing with me is I focus on getting out all of the super armageddons going first or second depending on whether or not Skill Drain comes up or Wonder Xyz comes up. If wonder xyz comes up, leave up the level 8's and xyz summon into Kali-Yuga on their turn!! Easy wins. And thanks to machinex, we never really have to worry about 1 for 1 hand traps again. Plus Gryphon? Ahh! Exciting! Awesome video, Cali!

God I love this deck so much. I mostly play master duel now, and D/D/D is my main deck I climbed to platinum with. Hopefully we don't have to wait too long to get this amazing support in that game

High King Genghis is only a Spell/Trap negate on your turn btw. It's easy to miss, but that effect starts, "Once per your turn:". 19:11 Also, there's a way to insulate yourself from Nibiru using this hand without Baronne. 1. Summon Copernicus, sending Necro Slime (summon 1) 2. Fuse Swirl Slime and Gryphon in hand for Genghis (summon 2) 3. Banish Necro Slime and Swirl Slime from GY for a second Genghis (summon 3) 4. Trigger the effect of the first Genghis to summon Gryphon (summon 4), using Gryphon's effect to search anything you want (you can grab Headhunt here without sacrificing anything later) 5. Overlay the 2 Genghis to make High King Caesar (summon 5). This keeps you safe from Nibiru just like Baronne, except it has 2 materials, whereas Baronne only gets to negate once while it's on the field. So if your opponent uses the Nibiru just to get rid of the negate, they still have another negate to contend with on their turn. 6. From here you can do everything; you still have Copernicus and Gryphon on the board to Link Summon Gilgamesh.

Gryphon does surprisingly alot of work for this deck by itself

I think the best upside this deck has right now is a) the new support that makes your combos more resilient and b) the fact that they play with monsters/spells & traps all together. That's a huge upside.

May I ask why you do not run Dark Contract With the Eternal Darkness? I know it doesn't stop Link Summoning, but it stops Fusion, Synchro, Xyz, and Tribute Summoning, and targeting with spell/traps.

I’m pretty sure DDD High King Ghenghis it’s a spell/trap negate but on my turn. So it’s not a bad card by any means but not to sure if ending your board with that in the field makes any impact in the game. Still liked the video and as a DDD player I’m very excited to test out this new support.

And this is why you only should play one high king Genghis. You can not negate on your opponents turn. That should always be the rank 6. Like your last board could be the same thing with a rank 6 to stop 2 Special summons.

I try to be different about this like try play all 3 high kings or doomkings and what if I don't wanna play the drop like I want to play the first ace ddd monster

Broken is strong....i wouldn't go that far....but it's definetly better now, with gryphon and the new xyz. In the right hands, this will give people problems, because the pure version is very resilient to interruptions. With the right Pilot, this will pick up wins! The flame high king genghis is once per your turn. So you cant use it on your opponents turn, unfortunately, which is why it's usually played at 1 You also missed that D/D Gryphon has an effect to discard 1 card and draw 1 card when pendulum summoned, so it can put things in graveyard and break-even too. DDD for me is Number 4 in my Top 10. Love the Deck and great to combo....I hope they get support. Maybe a High King Siegfried to shuffle banished cards back into the deck, that would be Great to extent plays further. If that happens I'd move this deck to maybe Number 2

i might be missing something here, but zero's effect that stops you from taking damage prevents you from activating tel's effect, bc in order to do that you need to have taken damage first. Right?

yeah High gengis can only be activated during your turn, and CORRECT ME IF IM WRONG but i dont think you can activate king tells effect the turn you summon him unless you taken effect damage. you activated without effect damage in 13:45

Piri Reis Map might be a interesting tech option for consistency. Beeing able to search Kepler or Copernicus is nice, only downside the search monster must be normal summoned or else its effects are negated for the next two turns. Also if map is negated you lose no lifepoints
