I cant wait for the phantom of yubel to come. I already love the yubel even before the recent support. I got ultimate rare terror like 7 years ago and had all the max rarity forms in a binder. Phantom of yubel makes the labrynth yubel deck so terrifying. The main issue i had with yubel is it had a really bad matchup against barrier/jowgen stun decks. And lab just steam rolls that deck and covers yubels other weaknesses.

I was totally taken aback by this vid about new Yubel support. I purchased the 3 original Yubel cards to go with my Sacred Beast structure deck but had no idea this new support was coming. I'm definitely looking to get a hold of these but as singles, I'm not into taking chances on pulls and boosters. These go perfectly with Vijam the Cubic Seed in my opinion.

Combo 1 is why i prefer to main 2 og yubel. If you had a second yubel when you pop spirit with sharvara you can summon out your 2nd copy from deck leaving you a spare yubel in gy. Then if you have another card, instead of poping Shavara with yama you can link rage and shavara into muckracker, set the trap with sharvara then make varudras befire your fiend locked again, then use muckracker effect discarding a card to summon back og from gy and in ep tribute the muckracker for yubel and summon out samsara for the monster effect replacement. Since you have the unchained trap of sharvara thats 1 monster negate, 1 omni negate +non targeting pop, +sharvara in in gy to go into sp. 5.5 interupts off of 1.5 cards. Oh and they cant beat over your board because nightmare pain is live as yubel is on the field. Combo 3 you can summon yubel to a zone gryphon wont point to and at ep summon back samsara fr gy to a zone it does point to. Yubels effect wont trigger so you have a monster effect overwrite, a flood gate, destruction protection from muckracker, and a yubel for pain so they cant beat over your flood gates.

Fun fact to those that don’t know! The 2nd form terror incarcerate only has to leave field to summon 3rd form (which does include using it for link summoning). So for rn you could run it for a 3rd body for potential link material. But I admit it is a brick

How does nightmare throne not mention “yubel”? The quotation marks end at before the word monster starts. If thats the case you wouldn’t be able to fuse the loving defender with yubel as that states 1 “yubel” monster

This isn't MAX power guys. This deck will be getting even stronger in the new coming booster boxes.

That's why you don't run hand traps against Yubel deck because it literally eats them up. My brother played this deck for a few days now and I discovered its better to use board breakers instead. Don't use Infinite Impermanence on Yubel boards until its your turn, that's where you strike your plan into playing and breaking it. Dropplet especially is very good. In short, Ash Blossom, Nib, Ghost Orger, Effect Veiller are bad to use against Yubel, you are just bricking yourself people, literally hand looping yourself. This is all because of the field spell.

Sam is incorrect about the ash part of this segment cause you can not activate ash in the battle phase
