*Something bad happens* "Is this a kids movie?" I see this type of commentary so much in older animations, it's funny how everyone always asks that question. Not trying to single you out or anything, it's just happened in so many channels I've seen lately of people watching Avatar TLA. But anyway, I personally like it when kids movies treat their viewers with respect and actually include serious moments, rather than just being blind, blissful entertainment.

The whole thing with the otter reminds me of "Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas" every time it is mentioned in this movie.

I'm so glad someone brought that up, Emmet Otter is my favorite Christmas movie,I like to think Emmet and his mom Alice are some how related to the Ottertins.

Yeah- sloths are an animal known for being reeaaalllly really slow. Judy x Nick- whether the relationship is platonic or romantic is (I suspect deliberately) left open to viewer interpretation. There is nothing in their interaction at the end which is particularly out of line for good friends and buddy cop partners; nor is there anything to rule out a closer bond; shippers are free to ship to their hearts’ content.
