No kidding. Ive been cutting hair by myself with other video but this way is more easy way to do so. Ive tried this and it really worked. So much better. Thank you so much.

@user-yl9mn7fk1z I wouldn't recommend it bc when it drys up it'll shrink and become shorter but I'm not 100% sure

I tried other methods before. They all take forever. This is absolutely the easiest and quickest one and I got amazing results!!! The only thing I’ll say though - for folks with thick hair, I recommend parting the back into 3 sections each side instead of 2. Overall, highly recommend this video yay!!! 🎉🎉🎉

Thanks, I’m gonna do this! I have super long, thick hair and haven’t gotten it cut in forever. Leaving for vacation in 3 days and nobody can squeeze me in for a cut, I’m going for it! Lol wish me luck 😭

I hope you see this in time! 🤣 I also have thick hair and it didn’t work, I had to go to the salon to TRY and get it fixed, the girl instantly knew what I tried to do and she said she just fixed somebody else’s hair who did the same lmao She said it really only works if you have straight/thin hair…I’m still trying to grow out my uneven pieces 6 months later 🙃

@@nyceexo53I have really thick hair and this method works great for me! Maybe you messed up somehow? Didn’t angle it enough or something. Also you do have to go back in and touch up/thin it out. This is just a guide imo.

I never cut my hair before only my bangs but this time I tried it coz I was so desperate to have layers on my hair. Its nice it saved me 50 dollars trips to the salon . Thank you ❤

If your instinct is to cut it tho, be brave, you will rock it 💜 plus it will always grow back if you aren't thrilled (but it sounds like subconsciously you want a change)

Yes. My hair is about two inches past my shoulders and is naturally curly. It totally works. I did have my daughter help me be my eyes in the back.

Start by only cutting a couple of inches, you can always go shorter but not stick bits back on.. When you cut the front pull it done close to your face (not outwards) and remember it will spring up when not pulled,

Glad it turned out for you because you sectioned the back correctly and probably did a blend between all the one inch cuts. Only thing is we wouldn’t get the same results because we don’t see all the steps. This video is very misleading.

N cutting my hair and my baby girl's hair. I just bend over and cut straight. The layers depends on the angle of your bend.

Really super sharp ones are best - not sure what she's using but i found a dangerously sharp pair that were sold as a fancy stitch ripper on amazon and they are perfect for cutting hair. Duller ones make it much more difficult as you kinda hafta saw with the blades so it's really hard on your hand (and the result will be less appealing as well)

What if I want longer layers? Do I just pull it out to the side more instead of so high up? I already have short hair and just need like an inch cut off of damage. It's just past my shoulders and I am dying to cut the rest of the damage off, but I'm scared and want to do it correctly. 😅
