@@lo1bo2, Yes! And, poor Gladys was usually thwarted in her attempts to see what was going on in her nose-twitching neighbor's house. I loved it when she'd go running back home, screeching, "Abneerr!!!"

I have a belguim mallinois Sheppard. He can litterally get a running start and scale the side of our house and make it on to the roof. And he loves to do it .All you have to do is throw his chew rope up there and he goes up to get it

People often say their cat acts like a dog, for doing something like playing fetch. Nola certainly demonstrates some cat-like behaviors. If she ever gets stuck in a tree and you call the local fire department for help, I wonder if they will think it's a PRANK phone call. Sure, your dog is stuck in a tree?!?

Part hound dog - they can't resist seeing what's on the other side. I had one that could scale 5ft chain link before I could close the door. Going "hound dogging" was his favorite thing, until he got too old. At least Nola has good manners and stays in her own yard.

Agreed! She could easily just take off. And that would be tragic because they would not be able to let her loose in the yard. Smart dog! I bet if they put a slipper in the tree, she would fetch it and bring it back to her bed and be completely satisfied! Although she seems just super happy and quite calm for a hound dog.

Please build that dog a treehouse with dog friendly steps and railing. Not only will she love being up there but her little buddy that keeps looking up at her will be able to join her.

I love how Nola keeps one paw on the tree. Reminds me of playing tag as a kid and this one tree in the neighbors yard was always “safe” if you were touching it. So to me, she’s staying safe lol ❤

One awesome pup! She's one of the smartest dogs I've seen in a video about a dog. The way she scales that tall fence! What a beautiful girl and such a cute personality! Hmm, perhaps she was with a circus before you adopted her! She looks like she could walk a tight rope. Love how she takes your slippers to bed with her. She's one happy dog and such a love! Your other dog is beautuful too! They are such close friends.

It’s so cute how she know how to balance in a safe way. Quite a special dog with a canine high IQ. Build her a platform so she can sit up top and see everything. Or even build her Platform or frame going around or in all her favourite spots.

You will have to put wooden steps & a rail up the side of the fence for when she is too old to sprint up there she can still go look ❤❤ or you could do it now & make a platform at the top for her to sit or lie out up there ❤️❤️❤️🐕🐕🐕
