If you fight Cooler with the different characters you get unique dialouge. I remember trunks talking about hownhe is the one who killed frieza. Really cool attention to detail

This and Buu's Fury are sorely under appreciated. Must've played through both about a million times since I was a kid

I spent almost 3 hours leveling up Hercule to break down his level 50 door. All for a four minute cutscene and then cut to same credits. And you know what? IT WAS WORTH IT.

Hercule also gets some unique dialogue when talking to certain characters, mainly those who know what really happened at the Cell Games. Check it out sometime of you want to.

I used to save all capsules for Hercule, and even with that it still had the lowest stats of the game, still it was a cool way to unlock the secret ending

Seeing globku finally playing the legacy of Goku 2 is great but I'm excited to see him play Buu fury and attack of the Saiyan, two awesome games in my opinion

Yeah, you're really supposed to use all your capsules on Hercule to increase his Power and Endurance. Don't know if Ki will buff his pose or not. But yeah, this is the alternate ending to this game. It's fun... minus the grind

I like how Hercule's daily workout is five Saitama workouts, plus punching rocks, and he's nothing to the main cast.

Personally my favorite grinding method is killing the crocs and gators on the island where vegeta and trunks fight form 2 cell

I remember getting all the secrets in this one and the second one. Loved how you started off at higher levels making it feel like a continuation of progress when going back to back on the games.

I remember playing this game a long time ago. I know I didn't unlock everything, as I didn't get all the statues and unlock Hercule, but I do remember getting Hercule's ending. If I remember correctly, the TV Station doors opened to any character that reached level 50, of course this was the original Gameboy Advanced version, so it may have had a programming error on the door in the original where if you didn't have Hercule, it didn't know which character it should be and allowed any level 50 to enter.

If you do the Namekian challenge before the Cell games and go to New Namek as Goku, the Cooler fight is easier. I guess using any other than Goku VS him just makes him mad and tougher to beat xD

excited for you to get to extreme butoden and find out that game's "cross-play" compatability. it's one of the coolest things i've ever found ;)

I’d have to say one of my favorite Dragon Ball Game is Budokai Tenkaichi 2. Another one would be Dragon Ball Z attack of the Saiyans which is an underrated DBZ game in my opinion. After that it gets harder to decide.

For me... When I get to that part of the Easter egg, I only use trunks so he technically finished the cold family. That's just me tho.🙂

I think all of us can come together and agree that an Any% Run of Legacy of Goku II as Hercule needs to be a thing if it isn’t already. 🤔

I remember playing these games on my gameboy ever single day. Grinded so hard and had to hunt down information from friends or guide books when I would visit my cousins. Unlocked Gogeta in Buu's Fury and had the time of my life with him

Yo buus fury is so amazing I beat it 3 times man I wish globku had a channel for vods cuz I would wanna see the reactions to gotenks and all the other broken characters

If you find all the statues before fighting Cell, Hercule will be level 40 witch makes it a lot less tiring to get the complete ending. Helped me a lot when I found that out.

That’s what all the str end and pwr capsules scattered in the game are for. They aren’t for the z fighters, they were put there to make hercule a viable character in the end game

1 cool thing about the game is that you can fly as a Super Saiyan on the world map, you transform and then fly out of the window in the Kami lookout, the map will be glitched.

I remember achieving this when I was younger with no idea what was ganna happen, also I can't remember what game but the broly boss was pretty cool too

Grinding Hercule to 50 back in the day was a pain in the ass with his super low stats

I was an absolute psychopath in LoG2 as a kid. I grinded every single character to max level before the fight with Cell (even Goku), and then I grinded Mr. Satan to max level after unlocking him. I even saved up all the capsules in the game to give to him (made grinding way easier). I even waited to fight the earthlings at Capsule Corp until I unlocked Hercule, just so I could see Yamcha mention him by name (he does this with whoever you fight him with).

I remember completing this game 100% in 2008. The grinding of Hercule to Level 50 was really tiresome but rewarding.

until now, I've only finished it ones maybe i got lucky that time but i still couldn't move those stupid eggs for once other than that one, but the game was fun after that quest as much as i can remember

I knew about Hercule/Satan being playable but I never knew there is a special ending cutscene with him or any exclusive content at all (as small as it is)

Fun fact: you can challenge Cooler with Goku or Trunks to get different dialogue. Cooler just prattles on about revenge to Goku, but Trunks actually tells Cooler he’s the one who killed Frieza and Cold.

Favorite all time Dragon ball game has to be Attack of the Saiyans

To this day, LoG 2 and Budokai Tenkaichi 3 are my top 2 all time DB related video games. I’m currently playing attack of the sayains for the first time via emulation and oh boy this one might end up taking the cake. Always preferred LoG 2’s story and playable characters to Buu’s Fury. Never cared for Gotenks & Kid Trunks, but admittedly love playing as Gohan and Vegeta. Piccolo and Tien are my all time favorites so getting to play the most integral parts of Piccolo’s story and upgrade him through 2 did it for me. Something most people would probably consider a quality of life improvement I absolutely hated from LoG 2 to Buu’s Fury, was in 2 if you hit an enemy against a wall, they bounce off the wall and often end up behind you so you can’t just spam everyone into a corner for easy fights. In Buu’s Fury I think they stay stuck against the wall for the most part. The flow of your attacks is smoother but at the sacrifice of dumbing down the game. I still keep an eye on webfoot technologies Facebook page in hopes that someday we’ll get a proper follow up. About 3-4 years ago they uploaded screenshots of what a WIP Legacy sequel looked like with talks of another one on the way, but it ended at that

This was a secret?... How the hell did I manage it then? I remember flying around and talking to everyone as Hercule but for the life of me I can't remember anything else on the game after the time Vegeta becomes a super saiyan to getting the key. For the majority of this video I thought it was a different game. I know for a fact I didn't spend 3 hours grinding everyone though.

Hercule is the secret unlockable character and once you lvl him to 50 you're be able to get the secret ending cut scene. That's pretty much it.

Budokai 3 has to be the pick, Would be automatic for me if Bardock could go SSJ & Goten had the Bros Kamehameha as an ultimate attack in that gam but oh well Tenkaichi 2 was definitely a consideration as well as Xenoverse.
