With several surprising Eagles at risk of being cut in the CB room, there's the potential of a swap with the Houston Texans for John Metchie or Robert Woods. John Metchie would be solid backup and I'd honestly think about what the practice squad could be with Eli Ricks or if he'd take a contract somewhere else. I think Ricks has the potential but they even brought back Mario Goodrich so it's depth at the PS level too. Idk, what that Intel's but they have great depth!

They wont cut him but it is more likely than not IMO that Slay won't be on the team. He's a very overrated CB in the first place, but he's a better than average play, with established credentials. I just don't think they are going to sit two of Ringo, Rodgers and Mitchell. Also, they seem intent on having DeJean in the slot, although I think SS will prove to be his most natural position. So, anyway, I think they trade Slay for a 5th or something like that.

I tried to tell people the same thing. When he had to step in for a brief moment when jalen hurt the finger or his knee one of the 2 I swear he was delivering BETTER then Hurts was at the time. Then all of sudden we got Pickett I'm like why ...???? I think the Back up Q.B we had last year was better. People need to go back and take a look at how he was last year versus Pickett. But nobody will knowledge that. It's crazy it's like people turn their head and look the other way and give the man no credit for last year for that brief moment he stepped in.

Jalen just needs to act the part of leader …. He already is the leader, but sometimes you need to show you’re the leader … especially to the fans .. McNabb fell short here too … wore it all on his sleeve… just need to act the leader and be supportive… even in the bad times … no bitching, no “my bad” crap, no sulking … just chin up and say you’re gonna fix it, then actually fix it .
