This was another great video... you sounded a bit nervous about what OSG was going to say about your prize Elk Mount. I think you found it an amazing temporary home. Another great video. Too much fun! I got to say that you have a very sweet wife too. And that little girl of yours is so cute. It's interesting to see her wide range of knowledge and more importantly, interest as well. You will likely have a lifelong partner in outdoor activities. ( Dont be surprised if you loose her a bit when she hits the Beauty Queen age. Ha, ha! ) I have a granddaughter who shot her first Elk at 14! What a beautiful life you have before you! Nailed the cook on that elk. I have the same issue with my caribou European mount. It is mounted to the wall in a now unusable corner of our living room.

Build a corner pedestal by the baskets for the elk on an angle! Put it up high, then slowly decorate with smaller game underneath!

We have a 9.5' grisly bear hide mount named "Clyde" it take up a stretch of stairwell on a two story and still barely fits

That elk is a dream of a lifetime! Did you get it scored? Wow! You briefly showed your roosters’ possible aggression building up. Let me tell you, BE WARE!! When our daughter was 4 we got some Dominique chickens. Boss rooster was puppy dog gentle and she could pick him up. The other one, Bubba, got to doing the same things that yours is doing. I noticed lessened fear of me coming around. Then it happened, and, well, I’m a one swing type of guy and if I don’t like the attitude at the time I’m seeing it?! Bubba swung once and fowled out!

Hey LFG idk if you plan to keep any of the roosters but if you do I would start holding them more frequently so they don't turn aggressive, small pecks like your rooster did will progressively get worse.

Our rooster was not aggressive at all until we introduced 3 Americanas to the flock he became aggressive towards me an my wife and a couple of the other chickens. Interesting animals i love the eggs though

Deer and ducks would be removed and the bull would be hanging above the stairs asap... its much easier to find a place for smaller mounts... what a bummer ... your bull of a life time and you had to hide it at the office..
