*Long backstory for this song* This is one of their most political songs to date. Korea was experiencing a lot of political turmoil at the time with the eventual impeachment of President Park Geun-Hye. BTS could have been blacklisted by the government for releasing this; As many artists who spoke openly about these problems were. The lyrics contain many references to political issues in Korean society. Such as in Yoongi’s verse when he says “We’re all dogs, pigs”. Na Hyang-wook was a government official who referred to lower class citizens as “pigs and dogs”. This song is truly underrated for how important the lyrics and their meaning are.

I remember that lyrics about it “we all become dogs and pigs” was a jab to the scandal involving an official in korea. he said that 99% of his countrymen are "like dogs and pigs". it caused quite an uproar that time. so personally, this song is kinda about calling out political and social elites on all their wrongdoings and issues.

I was quite surprised to see you react by choosing this song in 2020. In fact, this song seemed like an unexpected bomb talk to the Korean Army. It was a time when both BTS and ARMY were neglected in South Korea at that time and grew up in danger in hatred. But then, the issues mentioned in the SK news were put into the lyrics as they were, and the contents of the public criticism of the government and the people were properly contained. We all thought this song would be impossible to broadcast, and furthermore, we were worried that we could be ousted from the entertainment world. At that time, there were quite a few celebrities disappearing in the entertainment industry in SK. Fortunately, this song was edited again after deleting that part, so it passed by appearing on the air. So it's hard to find a video with a complete song, and the video you watch is also in edit mode. We think ..... that BTS was able to survive because of the influence of overseas ARMY's. If the overseas ARMY did not support them, it would not have been able to protect them completely just by becoming the top SK star. That's why I always purple overseas ARMY. And thank you and hope you are always healthy.
