In this video, I showcase you how to do one of Minecraft's biggest exploits yourself. Command Coputer Commands (CCC) is one of - I believe - three ways you can obtain the power of commands in survival.
There isn't proper documentation on this Exploit, so it's really hard to do it yourself. So to make it for others in the future, I decided to make this video.

There has been some confusion on the term "Exploit". Using a resourcepack is indeed an intended part of Computercraft. So is the command computer and switching versions is an intended vanilla feautre. But normally you shouldn't be able to get the command computer in survival. I'm using intentional features to do unintentional things. English is not my first language, but my understanding was that that would be an exploit. Some asked: "Why not just do /gamemode anyway, if you already need to have acces to OP ". Well yes, you have to host the world to use the resourcepack, therefore, you automatically could have acces to OP. But many people in the Minecraft Discontinued Features community like to break Minecraft as much as possible without using cheats or altering the world folder. The usage of resourcepack is neither. It's an intended part of the game that doesn''t directly change the world folder. Though, in case of CCC, it can have an impact on how the game runs.

This was a bit of a different video than normally. At first I really enjoyed editting it, but I quickly realized how unexperienced I am, so it was actually quite hard. It was a bit demotivating, but I finally got it done one week late. I will mainly focus on Unobtained and release these videos on the side to give a bit more detail on what I am doing in that series.

Let's say you go and download a program which allows remote access to your computer, say something like Parsec. Then you later remote into your computer and delete your files. Is that an exploit? Did you find some major security vulnerability in Windows?

Could u kinda show how u got what u got so far??? Some things like the void chunk I’ve never seen. I would love to know how to get em. (:

Would be harder in current versions of CC: Tweaked (computercraft’s successor) since they use datapacks now instead of resource packs. Datapacks are installed on the world so if you’re on a server you need access to the world files. However you could just manually download the exploit program into the computer.

@samuelhulme8347 I'm not so familiar with the CC: Tweaked. But Datapacks would indeed make it invalid, since you change the world files for it. Also, it would be an unofficial release of the game. But I do think it's nice people keep the mod up to date. That also helped me a lot with getting some footage for the vid.

Same issue arises on this version. You need access to the server to install a resourcepack on the server. It's literally no different, and I personally wouldn't even call it an exploit.

Installing this "exploit" will do nothing unless you place it upon a command computer which already has op permissions.

@@masongulu9280 I know what the program is, I’ve just described it as an exploit. If you’re on a server and found a command computer placed by someone else you could control it.

I basically already did (except for the installation wizard, but there is little reason to do so). If you are talking about how to obtain the jar-files, they are found in the description.

No, lol. You would need access to the server to put the resourcepack on the server. This "exploit" is barely even an exploit.

It could, if 1. the server already downgraded and has command blocks accessible on the map, or if you're the host and could downgrade versions. And 2. If the server accepts the code downloading command (skipped the name incase of yt auto censor). The resource pack is ultimately unnecessary if that command is enabled. Why does it have to be a resource pack? Did EDU disable the downloading command?

@@niaford690 I'm not too familiar with computercraft. And there is a good chance you indeed don't need it. But it makes it easier for everyone to do. Even when you have 0 knowledge of Computercraft.

@@niaford690You cannot access a command computer in any way in a normal survival world, even if there is one in front of you and you connect it to another computer. The resource pack alters CC's ROM to run a small server on command computers that listens for commands and runs them. That's it. It *requires* the resourcepack. By default, this command server does not exist, so you cannot force command computers to run commands without actually having access to the command computer.
