Just a few additions to tihe Verhagen story: 1. Viborg is not a premiershio side unless that means the second best league. Although it has been in the the Superliga (the best league) for a number of years previously. 2. Verhagen was also on trial with Danish 1. division (2. best league) team Vendsyssel, where he almost made it to a game, although it was a practice game. He was pulled during warm up, with the comment "he dosen't even have the level for amatuer league". (said to local newspaper) 3. He also posted a picture of himself in an FC Midtjylland shirt somewhere on social media at one point.

Audax Italiano Fan here! He flee the country claiming Racism from the club (never confirmed) and took his Chilean girlfriend “hostage” (she asked for help in social media, she was in denmark against her will). Club President said he doesn’t remember why they signed (he came on trial, didn’t sign a contract) and Manager said they signed him against his will, as he claimed he alarmed the club that he didn’t have the abilities to even be a profesional. Greetings form Chile and thanks for calling us “not mugs”, pretty pleased with that title.

@@sponish0 Not necessarily true, to be honest there's a lot of politics in the football game especially the early stages which most people aren't aware of and would be shocked if they knew. As someone who's been around and seen how it works there's been top tier talent that has gotten passed up on because another kid with less talent was much more connected to a somebody which is extremely common in that transition from a small decent club to that next level club like an Arsenal, Tottenham, Chelsea even from u13 up to u21s. When I was coming up it wasn't like that for the most part, it was pretty fair but now it's even surprisingly worse, parents who act as sponsors for clubs are now buying their child places on the team, dictating who's on the squad regardless of talent level and that goes all the way up to professional teams.
