They can easily resolve this issue by using tongs for picking up food... if all food vendors can take these basic precautions like using tongs and not touching food directly, wearing a mask, and covering their head , then our food would probably be best in the world . We need to create awareness about these things. They work hard but still lack in this aspect due to ignorance .

ಈ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರಿಗೆ ಏನಾಗಿದೆ???!!! ಅದನ್ನು lemon rice ಅಂತ ಹೇಳಬೇಡಿ. ಅದು authentic Karnataka cuisine ಚಿತ್ರಾನ್ನ. ಚಿತ್ರಾನ್ನ ಅಂತಾ ಹೇಳಿ.

Breakfast time - 5am to 9 am, lunch 🍝🥗🍱 time - 12am to 3,dinner time- 6pm to 8 that's the healthy n right timing of eating. Not at midnight 12 or 2.

Very true. Such food outlets are very much useful for those returning home arriving my trains, long distance buses, hospitals, shift duties etc. Good food is available at odd hours and whether to eat or not is individual's option.

It's a decent, hygienic tiffin joint in Bangalore. So many varieties of fresh, tasty tiffins are available here. Cost is not too high. It's really moderate. There is good culture in kannada people which you will find missing miserably in Hyderabad. In Hyderabad the people are like low class coolies who are basically filthy mutton chicken eaters.

Our health is more important. Our stomach needs rest at least for 10 hours. Finish your dinner before 10 pm. Morning take tiffin at 8 am. Avoid oily and roasted items.

These vendors have no sense of hygiene. They use bare hands to pour idly batter into the Idly tray. Why can't they use curry spoons to pour batter, sambar and table spoons to serve chutneys. Also the quantum of air thrust by speeding vehicles clogged with dust and exhaust fumes absorbed by the food is inconceivable. All the customers undoubtedly praise or appreciate the food served may be because of cheaper rates than at sit-down eateries. All our socialist minded Govts./Municipalities turn a blind eye on such encroachers of side-walks in consideration of vote bank politics.

Using bare hands to pour idly batter into the tray, to me, isn't such a big issue . After all, whatever bacteria, etc that he may have transmitted to the batter gets killed during the cooking (steaming) process. It's like when bakers, pizza cooks, etc, knead dough with their bare hands, and nobody complains. What I really find troubling is the use of bare hands to scoop up (or handle) cooked foods as is the case at 6:09.
