The powers ghouls posses is known as Kagune. The source of this power comes from their Kakuho, Depending on the type of ghoul they are the Kakuho varies from place to place. It's in the shoulder blades if they are an Ukaku. It's in the upper back if they are a Kokaku. It's in the center back if they are a Rinkaku. And it's at the tail bone if they are a Bikaku A ghoul that devours ghoul meet instead of human flesh is known as a Kakujan, and is much stronger, faster and more dangerous than an average ghoul.
