Things I miss about the OG Crew: - the overall tone of the story - cops - the spec system (and watching your car get stripped down and rebuilt)

I played the beta all day yesterday and I think I am officially done with FH. This game already feels like its gonna be so much more fun.

I was not expecting this game to be as good as it is. I’ve played the beta for 5 hours and it surprised me. I wish the map was larger though or if they added long bridges to connect all islands in Hawaii, that would be all I’d ask for.

I believe Legend Points serve the same purpose as ICON points in The Crew 2. You can then use those points on modifiers (Bucks %, vehicle, etc.)

The Legend Points are like skill points that can be used for various perks. On the menu if you go to profile then driver there will be an option for Legend Points.

I already finished all the playlists on the closed beta. Enjoyed every second of it but I’m trying to figure out how are they going to add more to this game without expanding the map. Also finally having a functioning cockpit view is amazing. Anyway the best playlist on the beta has to be the vintage cars playlist.

I love that there's so much rewards for grinding and playing

Legend points are Motorfest's version of Followers and ICON points from TC2. You can allocate legend points to passive stats like Bucks gain, XP gain, Nitrous power, duration, etc. like in TC2

For Legend Points, you should go in Pilot menu. And then it’s working the same way as icon points in TC2.

This game is going to be phenomenal and may even kill Forza until Horizon 6.

I’ve never played the crew, but I’ve tried this during the closed beta and it’s pretty fun. It reminds me of test drive unlimited and that’s a good thing. It’s arcadey, but not as much as NFS. Not as good as horizon, but that’s okay. Also, wheel support is surprisingly good?? I haven’t had any bugs or performance issues (i7 11700, 3080 & 32gb ram). All I want is the possibility for large convoys. The only free roam game I play is Horizon, and usually I’m in a convoy of 11 friends. The car meet thing in this game is cool as hell.

This demo is huge there are a ton of things to do and see we’ll done Ubisoft.

my only issue with the game is the fact that crossplay is only for grand races and the demolition mode that nobody plays, hopefully they add crossplay into freeroam when the game launches.

I got access to the closed beta today, and so far this game looks and plays really well! Can someone comment on how earlier The Crew games has done post launch? Do they add more cars, events and so on? For free or paid DLC?

One thing I don't get is why the crew 3 didn't do what the first game did where all the events were in the open world that would be the best cross over if to say ur just driving then u come across one of the summit events so ther for u would get the summit and exploring xp and more

I think fixing the numerous performance issues, crashes, and disconnects on the pc version would be pretty critical. I really do fear that it will end up like Horizon 5 where people just do all the playlists and main races and then drop it after a month, I feel like the island as pretty as it is, just doesnt have enough real estate to last for the years of content they are talking about. Even playing the beta for a few hours the island was starting to feel a little samey, a real lack of different biomes and memorable locations.

I don’t know about the main stage being the end game, at least not for me. I’ve constantly played a racing game back then just by simply changing elements like the time of day and weather. Some don’t even have that, like the old Most Wanted and i played the shit out of it. And they added exactly that. I love how you have all these settings now, that personally adds replayability to a track for me. Only thing missing is the ability to reverse the starting positions. We also haven’t even heard about whether it’ll have a race creator. On top of the personalized race options, that will add even more replayability imo.

Nothing will make nor break this game , it's already made and complete it will ofc have some flaws here and there but overall it is legendary 🔥🔥

Legend point are just essentially the icon points in the crew 2 if you pause your game and go to avatar and scroll over too legend point there you will see what it's like and how to spend them

Really need an offline/single-player version of this game and TC2 without the anti-cheat, I'd love modding in these worlds.

I just hope it dont turn out like FH where every 2 seconds you get a new car or lots of money thrown at you for doing the smallest thing. Its okay having rewards but to many and you basically never play with the same car more than once

The summit returns, i am iffy on it. Cause when people will find speed glitches again, they will make it impossible to get platinum without speed glitching urself.

I know it’s big but it would be cool if the game tracked the miles of each car on the game and you could see it in the cockpit view

I’ve been enjoying the closed beta but I haven’t even bothered doing all the races bc didn’t they say data isn’t saving during this. I do like this game but I’m curious what they’ll do with certain cars from the crew 2 that were in summits bc so far in the store it seems you’ll be able to buy motorpass cars now like the police Bugatti Chiron is now just purchasable

I have one word for this game: AWESOME

It definitely needs to smoothen out some of the FPS drops on ps5, and also PC players have an insane advantage during PVP because of how much faster they switch their cars compared to console players. Also, I know they rotate the pvp events and the categories included but something needs to be done when there’s a playlist you don’t want to play and then you have to wait 30 minutes just to play some races you actually want to play. Other than that the game is extremely fun. Also they should tweak the slipstream mechanic because it’s too strong, and it’s also inconsistent sometimes you can be really far away and you catch a slipstream and then other times you can be right behind someone and you don’t get any at all.

I applied for the crew motorfest beta on 22nd july and still didnt get a email from Ubisoft even tho i own crew 2 gold edition

Wasn’t able to play the beta, but how was the driving and overall gameplay?

I hope they put in a race like more York to get money in a fun way, a race around the island would be really cool with some good payouts

Hey blackpanthaa cool video. Thanks for explaining how the rewards work. I'm quite excited for this game hopefully thell be enough single player career events at launch. I also wonder if it will be like the crew 2 were after you complete the main campaign that you can still level up with xp to get rewards and keep leveling up. I also wonder if the career events are replayable like the crew 2 where you can get parts to further upgrade your car. It's good to see you blackpanthaa my pants boy ive been watching your vids since 2017 before need for speed payback came out. I played the first the crew game and it was fun. It was neat that it had a story to its career mode but maybe the direction it's going where it is will be cool. Take care blackpanthaa.

A lot of rewards might feel overwhelming but atleast u have things to do ingame

One think that sold me on thus game was the vehicle tuning its set up like the previous crew games where you select the new upgrade part and your done . No stupid complex fine tuning like in Forza Horizon. Whike ao.e many people saybthia is a clone or copy cat who cares the game looks and plays great on the Series s not sure about xbox one . The graphics are way better than previous crew games . Just alot if fun to play so many races and vehicles to choose from . After playing the beta im sold definalty will buy it now got about 10 vehicles now that I own .

Okay so there is a bunch of cars you can exclusively get through playing the crew 2. However, will you also be getting these cars if you have just played the crew 2 or are these cars only unlocked by having achieved platinum in the summits of these cars?

The Legend points are basically just the same as the Icon Points from The Crew 2. With the legend points you can increase your stats. You can use your legend points by going to Profile>Driver>Legend points

Unfortunately for some guys like myself wont be able to achieve many summit reward cars. Working 52 hours a week and having 2 children to sort out in the evenings and a wife to keep happy... Yeah think I'll just sick to the base game. This game isn't going to work around a normal working mans life.

My main issue with The Crew 2 was the lack of content outside of racing and features missing from the first game. The Crew 1 had phenomenal endgame content. The Summit, police chases, the Freedrive stunts, faction missions, the game modes like crown and blitz brawl, finding hidden wrecks, doing objectives alone or with your friends to unlock special license plates, etc. where has all of that gone? All The Crew 2 has is just racing and The Summit. I really wish motorfest will offer alot more other than the Summit and race’s because right now it doesn’t really seem to.

I got the key for motorfest and I played it for a bit. I think its great but my car is constantly braking and accelerating so the game is basically unplayable for me. I tried tinkering with the settings, playing with keyboard but It just doesnt work.

Unfortunately, the map is simply too small for what they want to do. The PS5 and Xbox could handle a much larger map, so not sure why they couldn't have done at least a 1:1 scale Ohau map like TDU did in 2006 ffs lol.
