I was only 4-5 years old when this was released.... But look at set up and all the elegant ladies looking so fabulous on those traditional attires.... Aishwarya is really like a dream . Noone and nothing modern things can beat the masterpieces of then time.

The directors, actors, musicians, singers, ect in the Indian cinema can’t be matched by anyone else. The music, the visual are superb. The story lines have heart and their exploration of the human condition is unmatched. Devdas was the first Indian movie I’ve ever watched. Ever since, I’ve been hooked. My husband and son as well. Plot- the girl in the red saree is waiting for her childhood friend and love who went abroad to study she lit a lamp in his name and she always makes sure tht the fire doesn’t go off here she finally comes to know tht he is coming back from abroad and her frnds are teasing her by taking her lamp from her hand but her love is so powerful tht even wind or rain can’t defuse the fire ❤😊
