These people criticizing you are really horrible and only want to bring you down. You are sailing around the world, fixing a boat and raising a young family, an incredible productive life. Just raising kids on land with lots of support is tough but on your own on a boat is a serious undertaking. I can also see you are fixing the boat more than normal to make sure it is super safe for the kids, I can feel that attention to detail and safety focus. You are an incredible family and a huge inspiration to so many of us all over the world. Only pride, admiration and warm thoughts to you all and we watch with care and concern from our family to yours. You represent Canadians in such a spectacular way, thank you. Watching the kids remind me of moving on to our first boat with our 18 month old. We lived aboard until she was 5. Great times. At 34, she still remembers some of it. The good parts, not so much the squalls, sea sickness, near groundings, etc. Remembers sitting on the bow watching the dolphins, swimming with the sharks, watching the whales.

Wow Ben's message about how much effort it takes to protect the lifestyle you want really resonated. I love watching you document all the challenges and triumphs of pursuing the lifestyle you desire to have as a family.

I've been there. Regardless, you're doing something right ! It shows in the kids' happy faces. Their reaction far outweighs those of resentful armchair wannabes. As a herpetologist I can advise you on how to remove them safely for both the snake and yourself. The first thing you need is a clear tube there's a proximately 2 in in diameter you need to cap one side that can be taken off or unscrewed. You should drill holes towards the capped end in a very pattern way that allows air from all different directions to enter the tube. It is this are mixed with a clear tube that confuses the snake, he believes that he can still see so he's not really in something that's dangerous they don't freak out which is what you want to achieve now the snake is shorter than the tube then you should get a second cap I would also run some type of harness that you can carry the tube with the snake in it also make sure the holes that you drill are no bigger than a quarter inch what else was going to need is if you're having a very reluctant snake to go into it then you can add a little bit of meat or a small mouse that you keep in your refrigerator Frozen just for this. Rumba hot Mouse Arundel house under hot water because the snake will know if the center of the Frozen Mouse is not thawed out for bait on the closed-end if you have anymore questions just send me a message have a great day and stay safe
