The Infinite Void you're talking about is the one that he used in Shibuya's train station, Gojo in that situation was forced to use a Domain Expansion that would only last for 0.2 seconds or in other words, a domain that would only last a fifth of a second (yeah that's how fast he activated and deactivated his domain) he believed that It's the smallest amount of time that the innocent people caught in his domain can endure without dying AND the amount of time the enemies caught, be incapacitated so he can finish them off (Civilians caught in that domain expansion did not die, but did suffer brain damage and comatose for 3 months).
