Hey @Aquarium Co-Op ! I live kinda in the area and might wanna visit sometime. Just a question, do you guys carry non-latex (rubber) elastic bands for when you bag up fish? I am allergic to latex and was wondering about alternatives so I don't have a reaction when handling the fish bags. Thanks!

@@carlam.9529 Yeah i thought about that. The other problem is they release airborne particles, and i dpmt want it in my face, so tbh i might just have to take my brother with me to help 😂. Anyway i was just wondering since its a hassle. Thanks for the reply!

Jimmy’s B-roll clips should be included with Wikipedia profiles. A lot of underrated fish have probably become popular thanks to his awesome footage and the detailed information you guys give during unboxing. Being someone with a scientific background I really appreciate the species names, too.

Best unboxing video I've ever seen. The B roll footage makes a big difference. Allows you all the fun of an unboxing but a much better understanding of what the 🐟 looks like from the b roll. Thanks!

I can understand a fish stealing your heart lol. Bettas have always been my favorite fish because of their huge personalities but the one a have now, an peach colored $3 male veiltale has just absolutely wrapped his little fins around my heart. He’s a tad spoiled and I love him so much lol

If a pet store use regular plastic bags or you have to use them, tape the corners from the bottom and up the sides, this create a rounded corner.

White cloud minnows are extremely underated. Very hardy Fish and are stunning. They do Fin displays and have a rainbow stripe down their center with fleks or pink and green. I have the short fin ones.

What does Robert mean "can't get the wilds right now..." is there an advantage to the wild ones? Also... does Cory see any of himself in Robert? Robert's passion shows amazingly! Seems like Cory in a way, just a little faster talking lol. Nice video.. nice to hear Jimmy and to know he's there! :)

You're not kidding about the bolivian rams coloring up, I have a few in with a couple of GBRs and it's hard to tell them apart from across the room sometimes.

Hi, Colombia (the country) and is spelled with an O not a U. The District of Columbia is spelled with a U. Common mistake, but easy to fix once you know. Awesome fish BTW. A big fan of Cory and all his insight.

Talking about fish schooling with their own species, Clown Loaches school with Tiger Barbs! So that makes me think they do see colors? Loaches are of the catfish species, barbs are SO DIFFERENT! I'm in the process of starting a Tiger Barb species tank, and I am so in love with Clown Loaches too. I've been wanting to do this since I saw Cory do it in his 800 gallon tank. I don't have the room for an 800 gallon tank, so my 125 will have to do. :-)

So what happens when a bag comes in deflated and/or there is a mass die off? Does the wholesaler make good by giving you a credit? Replacement shipment? If you order 100 of a fish, what is an acceptable kill rate before you let the wholesaler know? 5? 10? More? Is that loss just part of the cost of doing business?

OMGosh mine too! His body is a solid 3.5 inches, almost the length of my index finger. With his fins he’s about the size of my palm. Mine was sold to me as a “blue mustard” but. He’s black with the palest of yellow in his fins, they’re mainly black with some streaks of turquoise. he’s also got an iridescent turquoise color to his scales and his top fin is turquoise and speckled black like a stone. He has big scales so I’d guess he has the dragon pattern. My female is like an inch and a half big is all, and she’s not growing very fast. I have to crush the food pellets for her because they’re bigger than her eyes and I was afraid of having a feeding issue. Idk how Old Gregg got so big, but he did.

@@AquariumCoop no. We just had to tear down our tanks due to downsizing. So we went from having over 400 gallons worth of tanks to a 30 long reject/favourite tank of a mix of fish we are still rehoming (the pleco, rapheal cat) to ones we're keeping (the half moon betta, snowball pleco, tiger pleco, a lone cory whos outlasted everything!lol) and the goldfish were leftover feeders that our ray didn't eat before we rehomed her. We are deciding whether to make a pond, or to just give them to pond ppl, when the season starts.

What happens when fish don't make it to you alive for some reason (like the amber tetras)? Is there some acceptable loss rate? 1%? 5%? In a large order it seems unlikely 100% will make it. Do you guys get a credit? Replacements? It's just part of the business so no credit?

Corydoras Aeneus is absolutely the most common Corydoras albino fish. But any Corydoras species CAN be albino, I have a school of Sterbai albinos, I was lucky enough to find four of them and have been breedeing them with different strains of regular Sterbais to get a healthy school of albinos.
