Very interesting gold pan.. although I would also recommend to put some rope handles for it to make it easier to handle/carry.

Try making a huge natural sluice box made of logs and clay like the old timers.

You need to get a pool noodle and wrap it around like 80% of the pan and super glue it so you can carry it without slicing your hands!

Make sure you put baffles in the new bigger pan or put rough sand paper over it

Your pan needs horizontal channels to catch the heavies as the light material washes out, thats what keeps gold in your pan.

maybe add like a small catch in the bottom edge? theoretically the gold should go into that if u always a pan that side. than just throw away all the top
