I've seen clicking games that had questionable... "theme logic" to them/their upgrades, but this one might take the cake. Or cookie, since Cookie Clicker is a thing too, but at least it seemed more like a parody. Despite being older than games like this.

when you have the combo preventor on, you can autoclick on the weak spot and it removes the click speed cap

DF if you use your auto clicker on the combo circle with combo preventer enabled it goes hyper fast
