@@OArchivesX the reason those websites arent made anymore is because games have evolved so much to the point where with a one time purchase you get hundreds of hours of top tier gameplay, add the fact that there are services like PS+ that give you dozens of triple A games for 10 bucks a month and it makes sense why these old adobe flash games are no longer successful

It's amazing, but I think that's mainly because more and more people are groing weary of greedy cash-grabbing lazily and poorly made AAAs. The game market has become so saturated with COD-like shooters and battle royales and all that bullshit, it's nice to see indie devs actually doing stuff for the people to enjoy!

Huge Tip: If you're playing this game it's best to plant when the wave is over and wait for the wave to start instead of forcing the evil to come quickly because your garden will grow much much MUCH stronger

@@lemolea9571 nobody pays for them, the script to set them up is surprisingly simple iirc. ( I only looked into it a while back, so methods could have very much changed) But from the admittedly minimal research I did, You can pretty much just copy paste the code and make a few edits and the bot will run passively. It’s sad that code is being used so maliciously.

Another Strong Tip: Make 3 layers of daisies then spikes 1 space away from the daisies and then add a layer of Hedge walls in between

Cute little game development project, but super easy. I played on the hardest difficulty and realized hedge walls and bramble are completely pointless. You can just spam flowers and use them as mini hedge walls since you can plant 3 for a little more than the price of one hedge wall and they actually do damage. Even while playing this way, I wasn't losing money. Then the plant you unlock after wave 17 puts the game on autopilot. I'm just gonna run the game in the background for all eternity and see if the waves ever get strong enough to kill me in my sleep.

if you like this type of game, there's one almost the same called "Block Fortress" edit: there's an improved one where you can control a hero and change from humans to goblins, zombies and even robots but it does cost a bit of money "Block Fortress: War"

The reason why this game is free is because it was made from a free template. There are plenty of games that have that exact layout and graphics, some assets are often the same like the selection hover square and the entire grass base. I know this because CDawgVA made a video showcasing his fans created games, in the video you see this kind of layout with the exact same grass base and it being a tower defense game. The assets changed were only the characters being monkeys, so the tree would be the "uh oh stinky" monkey and placeable turrets were CDawgVA monkeys and ironmouse moneys, the enemies were snakes and they dropped coins just like how it looks in this video.
