Actually I try this game because I love Baldur's Gate 3.. and I think it's different mechanic but its actually good game!

Seems quite perfect. I love Disgaea and BG, and while Stardew isn't *quite* my style, when combined with gamelplay mechanics of more traditional RPGs, the concept sure works for me! It also helps that I love this game's pixel art, and have always been a Kung Fu maniac, so the Wuxia theme is a big plus too. Definitely going to get this one. Thanks for introducing me to it! 😁

Hope you enjoy it! I'm aiming to have a series on this game soon starting, SOS is another amazing title I'm still planning to revisit more. I believe these are different developers than the SOS devs but they have the same publisher. It's another great title on steam for the low I was super impressed with, next to The Matchless Kungfu it's likely gonna be one of my favorite games I played this year.

The Baldur's Gate 3 part is not really accurate, but the game is good.

I've played it, it was certainly interesting, I do hope the english translation gets improved, I am able to interpret what the game tries to tell me, though sometimes I do have to pay special attention to what actually happens when I interact with the mechanic the tutorial showed me so I don't misunderstand it and the dialogue can be awkward at times. Also my recommendation for anyone wanting to go to the Confucius sect and become a Brush/Fan wielding smart boy: There's a guide that was made from people brute forcing the tests and exams that are necessary for you to get into the sect, you should use it, there's no contextual indication of what could be the correct answer and I have been deemed wrong and a dumb dumb because of answers that I thought fit well within the context of the question. Also I hope the weapons get more manuals that scale with other stats, it would make transitioning to other fighting styles more comfortable.

Yea with all the recent ones like these. I wonder if China has a really good game scene that just doesn't export itself out as they tend not to english translate that much and even the good ones that do don't have the best translation.

I believe the problem is a majority of the west isn't really into these games so most game devs don't bother with an english translation. There's thousands of chinese only rpg game just depends if the devs get enough support to make an english translation profitable/worth the time.

@@gucciguy3408lets not forget the wests games are trash. Identity politics and marxism has ruined pretty much any non indie game the west makes. Im more surprised anyone buys mainstream games. They cost 70 or more bicks and are the same shit often not even reskinned. So seeing something u dont normally made by competent humans, of course it seems amazing

This game is an homage to a long tradition of Taiwanese (later Chinese) Wuxia RPGs, especially the big name Jin Yong Qunxia Chuan, which features the 14 martial arts novels written by Louis Cha, or Jin Yong (founder of Ming Pao Daily newspaper). These kinds of games are as old as the original Harvest Moon series or more! What's being appreciated here is that this really is a work of passion to make the world have depth and openness, while not being bound by known novels and works. So yes, this is some of the unexpected gold you find in an otherwise dross-spitting Chinese gaming market.

Great video but for the love of God it's pronounced, "ooshya" or even just "woosha" if you just want to be in the ballpark, so to speak. But still great video!
