...ok so this is what i get... she crosses the road and dies in real life but doesn't know it yet... the voice in her head is not just the monster but also the quote on quote "devil" trying to convince her throughout the course of their :adventure" to come with him to hell, and thats why he not only said, "...another toy for my collection..." at the end but also puts the note in the box of "endless happiness" saying "i stole your happiness - Benjamin (aka the fox) to make her not trust the fox but the fox i think is jesus or god trying to keep the devil away from Misfortune. then the fox shows her that shes died and takes her with him to "heaven"... ...just my take on things don't hate...

For those new to the game: When Misfortune was crossing the road in the beginning, the red circle, she actually got ran over by that time, and when she realized when she came back, she got her prize, the eternal happiness. The eternal happiness was given to Misfortunes Mother. And Benjamin was actually trying to help. Mr. Voice was the monster. The reason she didn’t realize it before is because she comes from a not so good family, but because of her happy imagination, she didn’t notice. I really hope this helped out a bit!

I actually believe that the end symbolizes the mother not being able to handle the death of her daughter and killing herself. I noticed earlier in the video that there was a person walking behind misfortune just for a moment and I noticed that the person was wearing a mask just like the ones that the police officer and her mother were wearing at the end. Misfortune wasn’t wearing a mask and neither was Benjamin, however it’s made clear at the end that both her and Benjamin were dead. I believe that the masks symbolizes people who are alive from a dead person’s perspective so when misfortune’s mother took off the mask, that symbolized her death. As for the light that touched her heart, I believe that was a metaphor saying “you only realize how much you love something once it’s gone”. Misfortunes mother was obviously never very good to her daughter but when misfortune died I think that woke something in her mother resulting in her suffering from great guilt and sorrow that would ultimately lead to her death.
