I had a nightmare last night I joined a community game and it's been 20 years since I played AoE2 regularly so I was playing like 10 ELO and everyone in the chat and T90 were so supportive even though it took me literally 4 hours to click up to feudal. It was one of the most stressful dreams I've ever had.

Zeta may get 200 ELO from researching loom, but I reckon Turbowealse gets a lot more by being consistent with vil production since everything else is so solid. It's frustrating to watch someone make great plays and kill a load of their opponent's eco only to remain level on vils.

@@jacywilson Thanks! And yeah, unlike the previous game in this set I didn't have pressure in my face so had time to look at details like unit armor. When I threw some pikes to his woodline just to harass and looked back to see a lot of dead vills, I figured out what the loom situation was.

I loved that L-shaped wall of red. Fully walling in that frontal part of the base would have made that siege in there really good at dealing with the incomming stuff without beeing exposed. I really think people gotta wall in their ranged stuff (Especially trebs) more often

FINALLY, a fellow loom-ignorer. I'm bad with it cause I think "that's 50 gold and it takes up my time creating vils. it's such a quick upgrade I'll nab it as soon as I'm attacked" and then when I'm attacked panic sets in and I just forget about it completely

11 this no loom thing is killing me! Even if you think you got it, once you see those vill dead so fast, wouldn't it call your attention? I think I would have realized I didn't have loom. But I am not as consistent on vill production as Zeta.

The thing about the name is that you could make a map with a bay in a lot of different ways, but if you set out to make a map that looked like some pants/shorts you wouldn't change a thing

T90 how many floors is your house or do you have a freezer in like a garage? Buy the box of icecreams but put them in a freezer as far from your self as possible so it deters you from going back for another or if you do fail and go get more it’s as much walking and climbing stairs as possible!

Loom is a waste of resources... typically. If you're gonna let enemy army have their way with your villagers dozens of times in a match however, then okay maybe Loom is gonna be worth it.
