i recently picked tekken 8 and fightning games in general and decided to main lee. So far i basically never win games but i watch your content to get better haha.

These videos help me so much with match ups and what I should be thinking when I play Lee. This is my first tekken game I already have over 250 hours on Lee because of your videos man keep them up!

The way I've seen points work is that they implemented the loss streak penalty from TGP/TGO in T7 across all ranks in T8. Losing 3 matches in a row seems to heavily subtract your points. The issue is that the game doesn't notify what or why it's happening so it appears to happen for no rhyme or reason.

damn camacho these matches were rough. From the Drag to not being able to stop the lars from promo, then to thinking you would get a break, only face a Xiaoyu to lose 1k points. I felt the pain.

As someone who played a lot of Drag in T7 and a decent bit in 8 the #1 hardest type of player to deal with as Drag is people who are allergic to blocking. It sounds stupid but as soon as you respect Drag's frames and his WR2 he's going to autowin (especially with the chip in T8). Drag doesn't have very good counter hit options (bar maybe his WR2 if they're good at iWR) so doing a simple one jab out of WR2 every now and again does wonders I think. It just gives Drag something thing think about so he can't just completely autopilot during WR2 pressure. WR2 pressure was the exact same in T7 and imo that's still the best way to counter a Drag player

I guess it's never a good time in ranked, but you did pretty good for the amount of things that were happening. I was about to become lactose intolerant from all the CHEESE that Dragunov, Lars and Xiayu were doing 😂 I guess that's expected to be seen there, though. Anyways, great video as always and I can't wait to see what else you end up doing 😁👍🏽

Great video, but i have a small question- I play on hitbox and whenever I have to press doubles or 2 buttons at once for perfect moves on lee, I always feel like my fingers aren't aligned enough, causing me to completely mistime the input and miss the perfect altogether. When I use a set 1+2 keybind for moves like b1, 1+2, I almost always hit it consistently. Do you think I should just stick to the keybind, or do you have any tips in general about aligning fingers on leverless/fightstick buttons?

I'm Rajin with Feng and just played rank today and was playing a bit passive which lead me to being demoted to Fujin and after 3 promotion iwent back to Rajin and just have to get over the replays and adapt. EDIT: i also lost 1000 points despite being in 5 win streak which doesn't make a sense.

How do you differentiate the input of FC uf+4 and a normal uf+4 hopkick from crouching??? I can't punish -15 lows....😢

Quick question, I've been noticing that you go into hitman stance from his strings but you don't really use the moves out of hitman stance other than 111 and f1+2 (I think?) HMS2 is a mid so if you condition someone to block low from HMS4 you kind of get a 50/50 pretty committal also, if I am correct HMS3 does a lot of damage for an armored move its also unpunishable cause its a high and its not like you side step it cause it also tracks . not criticizing of course just curious I'm only purple rank with my lee

i feel like in the current state the game just is too unbalanced. defensive play is feeling very non rewarding for most of the time and characters like drag, jun, and even azu don‘t have a real counterplay. what do you do against a spamming azucena who‘s gonna do wr3,2 in your face? what strat is there against jun‘s heat smash? what are you supposed to do against drag‘s pressure that is just op at the moment ? and i don‘t want to mention the other top tiers

The reason you gain/lose that many points is because of win/loss streaks. 3 wins or 3 losses in a row increases the point distribution more than twofold.

You lose/gain more points when you’re on a losing/winning streak. That was your 3rd win in a row when you beat the Shaheen player and your 3rd loss in a row when you lost to that Xiayou.

I think you lost 1000 points against the ling player because you lost 3 times in a row against same rank players. You can also get a bonus for winning 3 times in a row against same rank! Matches in between with higher or lower rank players dont matter in that manner. EDIT: Thats why you got +1000 for the first shaheen match win. 2 wins against kishin ling before + 1 kishin shaheen .

tekken 8 is infuriating.. I say we go back to tekken 7. Just avoid Kuni, Akuma, Noctis and it's almost the perfect tekken.
