As a person who watched the beta of this game, I was absolutely blown away by the full game. This was insane.

the best part for me is watching SMii7Y struggle on simple tasks by completing them the most difficult way possible lol.

When smiity pet the cat at 41:30 and promptly said “game of the year” I felt that on such a spiritual level I cannot even express to you

This game and Superliminal both blow my mind beyond anything else I've seen. It has the same mind fuckery affect as time travel paradoxes like in the movie Tenet. It just makes you think outside the box (and reality). It's super creative and I love it.

Speaking as a programmer, I'm always amazed when things that are (at least seemingly) quite simple techincally speaking can manifest as really impressive and puzzling spectacles.

13:20 I'm a current college student as a game artist and wanted y'all to know that everything in every game is hand modeled and painted using computer programs. I'm not too sure on the programming aspect, however, it's probably no different than when games can spawn in items for you just on a much larger scale for the photographs.

The last "puzzle" had me slamming my head against my desk, but I understand the brain melting after doing puzzles for an hour plus. You did great Smitty!

Smii7y is a real one for going back through all the lore he already heard in his other video instead of just doing what other youtubers would do and tell them to go see the other video. Bro cares.

7:16 - The term you are looking for is Boolean. A Boolean operation uses the volume of one mesh to add or subtract one mesh from another. It basically subtracts a really deep cube from the world and adds in a predefined set of meshes in it's place, as two different operations happening simultaneously. Really clever, and super easy to implement. You wouldn't be able to do this too often in real time, so limiting the number of times you can do it with the photographs is ingenious. All around, really impressive.

Excited to see you play the full game this time Smii7y! It offers a such a surreal experience that really confuses you. Side note: The Filipino representation in this game is incredible, Hiraya's hub is full of Philippine knick·knack and foods, plus some Tagalog tidbits in here dialogue. I am so happy to see it in a game! Excited for the next one!

Hiraya makes me feel amazingly seen and well represented. How she wants to mix natural sciences and art together, her filipino heritage just being there, and it looks so well done. plus the food made me crave bibingka (the one u mentioned as a pie, it's a cake) when it's not December yet

I watched you play this game's demo and I was amazed just as much as you were. I completely forgot about it and haven't seen any of your videos in a while. I found this one though, I'm really glad I did. I love games like these, and you make watching them amazing. And yes, at some points I was like "Omg you're supposed to do this to finish the level! Stop doing that!" but that's perfectly fine, if anything, it made the video better. Slightly longer for me to enjoy. Thank you for being a great guy and I will be happily waiting for the next part.
