please do an in-depth review and tear down of the GC handheld :) id love to see it . I am currently creating my own handheld and i am not good at creating a controller so i am probably going to use a lattepanda sigma with a D9 Wireless controller taken apart and its internals put into a case that i 3d print and design, all so that i can create a console that works with AAA games and retros that doesnt cost a fortune.

I'm adding my voice to the chorus that'd love to see a lot more coverage of the GameCube. Other people, and the Ali-X listing itself, suggest that there's actually a Wii inside that shell. If you do decide on doing a feature on it, please see if it'll run Wii games too. If it could that'd add extra value to this handheld. The X6 disappointed me; through no fault of itself. Rather; Taki had reviewed a different console called the X#, I think that number was 6 too, a week or so ago. It too is a white colored vertical handheld with dual sticks, except it has PS1 ability too. I thought this unit was that one, and for only $17! I got my hopes up and then it turned out that, actually, no it isn't.

I've been interested of Nintendo Gamecube games like Starfox Adventure, Super Smash Bros Melee, Kirby Air Ride, Pokémon Colosseum, Pokémon XD Gale of Darkness and defienitily Mario Kart Double Dash for a long time, I know you can play Gamecube games on a Nintendo Wii and I have a Gamecube controller but I LIKE handheld consoles and that Gamecube portable handhdld looks so beautiful and powerful. 😊❤

Yes please do an in depth review of the gamecube hand held i am curious what mads have been made to it to be able to read a micro sd card and if pico boot with swiss is possible and if it is capable of reading as much as a 1tb micro sd card. I pico booted my daughters GameCube last year and figured out it would work great fully loaded with a pny 1tb card

I bought the X6 on Temu. The lower buttons have you cramp your hands up. The menu is sluggish, the files are so hard to determine what is what, there are some repeats. Its not worth it.

I wish I had the ability to make something like that portable Gamecube, or knew someone. I got an old Gamecube that doesn't work for some reason, anbd it might be possible to takes its parts to make one of these.

It's almost the price of mid tier SteamDeck, it has smaller display and it's thicker and uglier than it, and if it some part breaks - you are probably done. I'm actually more impressed by the first two. The first product is on some crazy discount in UK for less than £7 right now. I paid £20 for some random console from the mall yesterday (I "needed" it).

The Gamecube hardware will be a Wii with the motherboard cut, you wouldn't be able to fit a Gamecube console in there.

I buyed the X6, leave it, it's garbage. The software don't have a favourite folder and you can't go between pages in the game section but only up and down scrolling the games one at one... With another software can be better but with the actual is extremely difficult to play a specific game if isn't in the first pages...
