Hello Levy! I have been a subscriber for over a year and I wanted to thank you for your videos. I had played tournaments when I was younger, and then had to stop to play chess to study. But after I turned 18, I restarted playing, teaching myself as a hobby. I could climb to 1750-1800, and now I'm 21 and I have just hit 2000 rating points just from the studying of your videos. problem with the traxler is that black actually rarely DOES know what to do after Qe7! So I'm actually 2/3 times quite comfortable playing against the traxler....as long as you know the lines a few moves more than they do, you're golden

I feel like the Englund Gambit Declined stuff is a huge tell of 1100-1300 games in general. High enough that one player has learned a tricky opening and the other has learned to recognize "This is some weird tricky shit that I do not want to deal with".

Gotham, as newer players flock to chess as they have been over the last few years, the original "bad" players are climbing via the points the newbies are losing. I'd say a 1000 now is like a 600 from 2 or 3 years ago because the 400-800ish range is oversaturated.
