This is the next wave of vst plugins. MIDI Wizard, Drum Monkey, and this… we almost don’t need to learn to play instruments… almost.
@olibarahosasa11372 жыл бұрын
Being a pianist/producer for over 30 years I gotta say I'm still happy I can play my instrument goat level. ☺️. Even if I use this vst then still I can change the midi notes better than someone who is not trained in harmonics etc. Or which random generated melody fits the track I am working on better than the next random generated melody. Great plugin though, will use it for sure.
@donares95292 жыл бұрын
@@olibarahosasa1137 it makes our initial melody/chord progression as easy as a click of a button. But being musicians, we love to tinker with which notes go where. I don’t see it as cheating I see it as a shortcut to the very foundation to any song.

So many people are knocking this, like it's not real musicianship or it's lazy or insincere. But think about this: everybody's creative process is different. There is no such thing as "doing it wrong." If you create something and you feel like it's an authentic expression of yourself (and you're not stealing somebody else's work lol), there's no such thing as fake or wrong.
@ResidentRaccoon Жыл бұрын
what did you really create when your entire arrangement is solely dependent on someone else's writing and performance?.. if you don't write or perform then you're nothing but a glorified block arranger, frankenstein-ing other people's work.. it's not real musicianship, because it doesn't take any musical ability, how hard is that to comprehend? Where I come from, the term 'musician' actually means something
@xsats2272 жыл бұрын
I don't want to sound like a boomer but that completely ruins what music is for me.
@wm15732 жыл бұрын
Nah that's just facts. These new 15 year old trap lovers starting to "produce music" but just straight up use only presets and loops and probably can't do anything from scratch.. Edit: I'm not saying preset or loops are bad, but if it's the only thing you do I think it's time to question if music producing is for you.
@xsats2272 жыл бұрын
@@wm1573 yeah cos that's basically using someone else's music ideas and just putting them together . Anyone can do that.What really takes talent though is to make these ideas your own.
@wm15732 жыл бұрын
@@xsats227 yes indeed. what's even worse is that some people take those loops and don't even know how to manipulate them and just straight up copy it to the timeline lol I think it's already way less bad if you actually change the vibe, sound and feel of the loop or whatever
