When he started taking about his stuffed animals it brings back so many memories of making sure all my stuffed animals got to look at the book I was reading so no one would get bored. 😂

The psychologist had a point; I don’t think this qualifies as an “addiction” - it seems to be something that brings him genuine happiness and it isn’t disrupting his own or others’ lives, so there really isn’t any point in “fixing” him. Rather, it would be more meaningful to explore what allowed this attachment to grow. Forcefully trying to stamp out his attachments would only do more harm than good.

I too slept with ALL my stuffed animals. It was obnoxious when I went to grandma's because I wanted to take at least a dozen along.

At a party, I found out that some balloons have glitter inside. Unfortunately, that was when I was taking them down to clean up. Outside. Thankfully it wasn't super windy.

I had to put all my stuffed animals in a specific spot in order to fall asleep. I can still remember where most of them go, and now I’m getting really sad and nostalgic, so I’m gonna stop.

your stuffed animals were different than this guy; you outgrew that, and you didnt fuck them haha but that being said, stuffed animals are cool at any age, as long as they are not taking over life :-)
