Cool video, small suggestion though: make the operator icons and whatever other graphics smaller/not in the center because it blocks the gameplay and isn't really vital information that we need to stare at in order to follow what you're talking about :)

Can’t lie since you are pretty much fully covered when throwing your secondaries now and using the EMP’s on any c4 thrown your way,as long as your accurate, I mean,Plus with the fact that impacts only do 80 damage now if you throw and hit two impacts,Using monty as a support op mainly as a distraction is very important as long as you can stay alive as long as possibl

Considering the shield rework and the last shield op we got was Clash. I would love to get another shield focused operator. Maybe they can release this new shield op at the same time as when they give some existing operators the ballistic shield. Maybe give them an ability centered around the fact that you can deploy utility and trigger certain utility from behind the shield. Like maybe an ability that slows down operators that are in front of the shield similar to Melusi. It be an active button press with a recharge like Clashs taser. The balance for this would be that it effects allied operators too which could also have the side effect of STAY BEHIND THE SHIELD OPERATOR FFS instead of sprinting ahead of them and then complain when you get shot.

Having not played in years I hope they keep the shield cuz it's still gonna be a bit till I get to play again.. I've always loved Monty as a support op/planter and to know he's gotten so much more useful and competitive is amazing

As a shield player, blitz is more of a rushing op and put pressure on the defenders while monty is more of a good team op, but a support op is a great way to put it

Whenever I see a Monty player I usually Spawn with him and push with him. Never let the Monty go by himself. Recruit Striker should get a Shield like they use to have before the rework. If Thermite is getting one. Striker definitely needs one. Imo. I also disagree about the suppression. Yes it slows them down but if you're by yourself you're just wasting ammo. Also Impacts got nerfed so they cant fight back. Imo Shields need a nerf. Yes they're really good and the best they ever been. The reason why I think they need a nerf is because Impacts have less damage, Lesion only has Gu (lost impacts..), Ela is probably the best against them but her recoil is crazy, Frost is situational, Fenrir gets banned to much to make a difference, Thorn could be useful, Echo could be useful in certain situations, Tachanka no one really plays, Goyo is situational, Melusi is a one time counter if they shoot the Wubs right off the bat and Kapkan could be great. Yes I named a bunch of counters but most of them are situational. Imo.

I didnt like monty and other shielders before rework, but now monty is a really nice operator to play

the only real problem with shield operators is that you sometimes cant knife there shields away wich leads the shield operator slaping you easy and killing you. just like the situation in 10:15 shows and no, as you can see in slowmo, the monty wasnt faster

I had 45 hours on Monty even before the shield rework, but now he is even better than he was before. I main him and i have a 1.7 kd, he is so strong rn.

I feel like a lot of shield players are missing out on a HUGE resource: their HP. A lot of people try to preserve their HP as much as possible, running away from a C4 or fleeing from incoming fire. As a shield especially, your HP should be a resource. They SHOULD be taking the brunt of the fire, if you're getting C4 after C4, your HP is chipping away, but you're protecting your team.

Since they nerfed the ADS speed on shields, AGAIN, it is very difficult to use your pistol even after bashing someone. They'll recover from the bash before you can ADS.

How can you glorify this man for playing monte for thousands of hours? Those hours will soon turn into years and years into decades. Many people spend excessive hours playing video games, potentially leading to mental health problems. Unlike traditional sports, which promote physical activity and social interaction, gaming can be very isolating. Don’t get me wrong I am all for gaming, I just wish that people were more informed of the risks of video game addiction because it seems that is often overlooked.
