No, her continuation of trying to kill Gregory, as the Mimic by the time of Security Breach would've had to have been sealed underground, as Gregory says the it had been down there a really long time, and if it was the origin, she'd be talking to Glitchtrap aka Afton.

And people are just using Mimic’s existence to completely knock Glitchtrap out of canon. Vanny works for Glitchtrap, not the Mimic, and there’s no proof that the two are even connected in anyway.

Glitchtrap is a Virus. Not a program. If mimic was Glitchtrap,woudnt he be showed as White Tiger instead? Since it was his digital form in the books.

Afton Literally had a "never ending urge to inflict pain" as one of his main motives,the other being controlling And dominating the balance of Life And Death. Eleanor's was to inflict pain and eat the agony of Afton's and her victims,due to the fact she is just a manifestation of his evil. The One you Shouldn't have killed literally only wanted to torture Afton. Mimic also has a personality as seen in TigerRock. TigerRock is based on Mimic's makeshift Tiger Plush,which leads to Mimic acting as himself as TigerRock,he is friendly,calm and patient,although he was like that before being haunted by Edwin's agony. After that he became a kind of Trickster,Despite still having his Friendly 4 year old manners. He became a Lethal pursuer with the objective of become fully alive,and having the perfect Familly Edwin lost.

You know what's funny about the Mimic? We know his backstory in books, but we don't know who tf he is in game. That means we MUST buy books to understand lore now, which sucks too. That's why Fnaf should have ended at UCN.

Well,it works for Afton. Since he introduced as unstoppible force. We did not even got his name,voice and motives until fnaf Sl. 3 games after his intraduction, 4 ıf you count fnaf 1. His motive was not really matter. Since he was just a big bad that needs to be stopped. He did played his role. But Baby in other hand is totally diffrent. Her motives are really good. And she really is a tragic chracter. Unfortunetly ,due to do what she is done in the games, we have no symphaty for her. She is basically evil. Meanwhile Mimic is just a murder robot with no personality and charm. There is no logicall reason why he did all of this. He just kills everyone it sees.We do not even got any conformation about him beign Glitchtrap,let alone Burntrap. He has no actuall reason to mimic afton. Mimic is just there. Like you can easly erase him from the story without a problem. Just say he was old Endoskeleton from Freadbears. And Baam. He is no longer important. And the worst part is,game files refers him as Old Endo and Grimic. Not even Mimic. This means he will be replaced. Vanny literally has no screen time. Wasted potentiall.

He is a trickster and curious creature,he is self-aware of what he does and is not really focusing on killing,why he didn't kill people as Tiger Rock when he had bunch of available victims? He loves learning new things,his A.I doesn't control him,he chooses to copy whatever he actually finds interessing,he is not a full on bloodlust killer,he actually has depth in character
