This Guy on the Heat mission just warned Captain Price, Gaz, Soap and the other SAS members about Tanks coming their way and got hit and got killed in the place mysteriously...His name was Mac ..he was a obstacle course trainer in The first Mission FNG ..now we don't know his rank or full name ...he remained a mystery and never found ...

Fun fact: he doesnt actually die (and most of the time he isnt even called mac) he just moves and regroups with the team, by the time his last radio transmission happens he arrives with the team. This is only found on the original COD 4 game

Ohhh... I remember this. If you searched through old COD4 sound files you can find Mac's voicelines that suggest you went back to him and rescued him. It's a cut content probably, just like training camp in COD4

they also only say that he's been hit, usually in the series following voicelines like "leave him" or "We can't get to him" indicates they're dead or will be, given how nothing came after that ive always assumed he was hit but not KIA'ed, but by the sounds of it he actually isn't/ wasn't

If so, Mac would've been using an MG to give us covering fire, as in the old COD4, no-clipping into the room with it would reveal an unmounted MG that auto-locks onto targets and shoots them. Even if the player mounts it, the gun would still fire and lock automatically...

This character, like captain price, was a reference to real life SAS soldier John McAleese. He died in 2011 and had taken part in the 1980 Iranian embassy siege.

@@Omega-1Laws-Left-Hand well I have taken a lookon him several times , his name was always arem I guess ( talking about the one in the house with a machine gun ) who will survive the mission same goes for barton but MAC apparently is in a non acces zone as the video says and you can't see him even when he gets killed but for the other 2 SAS characters you can see them and they both survive along side gaz price soap + they cannot be killed in that mission

@@yanishioun7462 I played the original not remastered and during the retreat arem spawns in a house far off from the one I'm talking about, the house in question I said mac was in can be accessed by the player but you cant go into the room he's in, if mac was providing sniper support from a location far enough to see the whole village he should've been fine. But he died.

I imagine Mac got hit on the shoulder, his arm got paralyzed then got hit again on the stomach or chest or possibly neck and then got finished off by a headshot. Most realistic death groan I've heard in cod so far

Could be he had plate penetration and took a round to the heart. With the adrenaline pumping that will explain the casualness of it being accepted, possibly not initially even aware of how bad it is. That groan would then more than likely be a groan of falling unconscious due to a sudden drop in blood pressure. So if it was the case technically he isnt dead when you hear that but he will be a few minutes from then on. Just a possible justification for the rather subtle death line you hear. Could also be he took a second round as he went to say something and just moaned as he went down.

In MW3 I think after Soap’s death, Price calls him to ask if he can lend him a hand with equipment in the cutscene before the mission. It could be MacMillan which makes more sense, but Price does call him Mac.

Hab ersteres aufm PC gezockt und letzteres auf der PS4 🤔 I can't even remember this level or this mission from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare from 2007 nor from the remaster from 2016.
