I am responsible for the ano job on these and I gotta say it's such a treat to be able to see each Magnet in person. Especially considering how awesome dude JW is, meetups are a blast with this guy lol. I'm as biased as one could be but I still can't recommend his products enough. Top tier quality and the spirit of true craftsmanship. Great review! Your freestyle was fire!

I really enjoy balisong reviews for more passion project made ones. It always reminds me of why I enjoy the hobby so much from seeing so many different designs philosophys, to just the insane love that people have to hone the craft of making one.

I actually own the mini Magnet at 6:07 and it really is a one of a kind knife, 1 with it being a lot smaller and 2 the attention to detail. While not my favorite flipper it does has a super sweet look to it and it always catches my eye when going through my collection, I love the way it looks. His anos go pretty crazy!

Anyone who has done any hand grinding will know how hard it is to get things like those rounded edges consistent. I built jigs for some things but have yet to figure out how to get the rounded edges that consistent.

Pretty. I'd really like to get into balis more than i already have, but the fact i can't do tricks past a certain point. i can affectively flip them without cutting myself, but i just judge myself for being a failure cuz I'm not awesome

That's no way to talk about yourself, random internet person. You very much are awesome, and it's ok if you're not a top tier flipper yet. It takes time to learn things, especially tight, skill based things like flipping. the fact that you have the skill at all is pretty cool on its own!

agreed @@cyberpunkthewolf5567 also i invested most of my knife bsaed skill points into throwing lol. Im still the first person to post a knife thrown into a tossed bottle on youtube. But you have to search "knife throwing done right" and scroll to the vid with a palm tree lol. I'm already pretty lucky though you're definitely right

"4.8 oz, which is on the heavier side"... man balisongs are too fucking light nowadays. Anything under 5 0z kinda feels like it's just going to fly away from me and gives no feedback so I don't find it enjoyable to flip.
