Designer Luke Havekes takes you inside his Montreal condo. Housed in a 1989 building, the spacious apartment boasts high ceilings, which allowed the designer to showcase his collection of stunning sculptural pieces. From the boomerang-shaped sofa to the bold triangle bench in the entryway, Luke made sure his home was anything but cookie-cutter. The kitchen pays homage to Quebec artisans with custom-made millwork, lighting and metalwork, while Turkish marble with a wine-colored veining exudes luxury. Plus, wait until you see the principal bathroom adorned with terrazzo tile!

Love it! Finally a space that s not white, minimalistic and scandinavian. It' s a house full of character, designed with personal taste to fit the needs of the owner. It is not a staged house but a house that the owner lives in and has put a lot of effort. Well done.

The place is beautiful, his items have personality which I love, but there is just too much stuff/ some items are way too big for the space. Take out 60% of the items and I would love it. Still, great taste imo. Love his kitchen and bathroom.

i agree -- great taste and all, but too much. everything would be quite comfortable to sit on/use, but walking from here-to-there would be an obstacle course! otherwise, lovely.

Come on guys he loves books so he has s couple of bookshelves. Ad je has plants. And the seating near the window he might like sitting there. I think he has done a excellent job. The foyer kitchen bathroom and bedroom do not have much stuff. Infact they are minimslist. Won't you say so

Oh, my, goodness! All those curves, so enveloping, I love a living room that gives you a hug when you walk in...and that's what this one does. The wedge shaped bench and console are such a good idea, such a space problem solver. Never been a fan of pot lights either, they work okay in big massive rec rooms but that's about it. I really like this cove lighting. Beautiful orchid....I wonder if that was purchased for the shoot or if Luke has nurtured it to that state of flowering...it's gorgeous!

I love the place! The front door bench and the living room console are genius! Definitely a conversation starter! My least favorite is the living room just because it is so cluttered... each bit of space in essence is lovely, but i would move some of the decor in the bedroom to even it out a bit. That way I could really take in the beauty of the space and each furniture piece. By far my favorite space is the kitchen. I love love loooove the wood and stone combo. That island is a piece of art! Those legs are everything! The bathroom vanity was also one of many well made design choices. Overall, I really like it! I hope we see more spaces like this one! Bravo!
