“Nothing brings you closer to God than suffering.” Amen. I went through my own “Jacob’s trouble” just a few years back. All brought on because of all the horrible and selfish seeds I had sown. It was the worst season of my life. Period. But during that season I didn’t embrace alcohol or self pity. I decided (key word.. decided) to embrace Jesus. It was a hard season but I believe God healed me quicker that it could have lasted. I’ve gain a relationship with God through that season that truly is better than gold. I feel better now, I have money again, I have a good job, I have great opportunities, etc. but I still find myself going away to a quite place multiple times a day just to spend time with God alone. Because nothing in this world is good enough now. And can’t be. I know that now.

This is so inspiring and encouraging...I will do the same now. This period is very difficult for me - no purpose and no money. I decide now no more self pity - this is opportunity to embrace Jesus and get to know him!

I suffered many years from severe haemorrhoids & there was no cure but the lord Jesus healed me completely . I was also addicted to smoking for a long time but God delivered me & I don’t even crave for it at all, that was my weakness.. & Lord who is so good became my perfect strength in my weakness & i got delivered. ❤ praise the Lord

I was there GOD told me that I was going to leave but I'll be back and when I get back I'll never leave again!! Living in the Spirit is the best way to live and the only way to live!! Oh my goodness. This sermon could not have come to me at a better time. Yesterday and this morning I had an attack by someone who says they are Christian but is still in early stages. When you said that we can be stack lose our footing and get sucked in well that happened to me. I went on the defense in my flesh and allowed myself to be knocked of my foundation. Listening to this today and praying is seeing me upright again. I drive school bus for almost 8 hours a day so I have lots of opportunity to listen. So happy I found your channel. Thank you.
