This Hasn’t Been Done in 928 Days in Destiny 2! Root of nightmares In Lightfall Destiny 2 had quite the challenge! Root of Nightmares saw the next raid race for encounter like Cataclysm, Scission, Zo'Aurc Explicator of Planets, and Nezarec, Final God of Pain! With a variety of racers and an even bigger lineup of loot, but I have made a challenge to do all of these, SOLO, without dying! This video covers every part of every solo encounter and who cleared what! Thanks for supporting!

at 15:08 I believe he actually died to the rocket hitting the mid colossus rocket, not the well sword. Those rocket have hitboxes and has caused me so much trouble

Everything about Raiding in D2 is anticlimactic, thanks in large part to the busted PC version. Especially the raid races. It's just tainted everything. And then the aforementioned bugs. In the back of our minds, the results would be very different.

We have reached a new ceiling despite all the nerfs and the unspeakably dim odds they have propelled themselves to the title of Legend once again all the runners who helped out if this was a real thing happening today you all would be hero's i am so incredibly proud of this community and how far we will go just to prove things can be done. I hope The Legend Himself is watching all this with a smile he was the first to ever solo a raid and thanks to that spark we are all here right now witnessing this incredible feat!!! If there is a god out there, he just wanted xemos run to succeed. There are so many absolutely insanely lucky moments in the whole run, biggest of which is the Wipe-Animation-Cancel on Nezarec. This isn't a knock on his skill, because there's a difference between getting lucky and being able to use your skill to take advantage of that luck. Absolutely insane skillshowcase.

???? this man was swapping classes while his rocket was mid air to get maximum effectiveness. This isnt trivial at all. Havin ga team makes this raid a billion times easier, can even turn your brain off for 3 of the 4 encounters.

I sort of want destiny to create mythic items/gear/cosmetics that monitor who has the best of something and automatically award it to players For example an emblem for solo raiding for each raid that monitors clear times and automatically gives it to the fastest player It would take it from the previous fastest and award it to the current fastest Or an ornament that does the same for the person with the highest k/d ratio Just seems like a cool idea to me

if you watch the video xemo posted, he was pointedly not killing adds in nez fight unless he had to. it was also starfire + autoloading being used for the rocket

This is by far a fantastic achievement but it's kinda sad to see at the same time not for the amount of effort put in but that a raid has come back to the point of being completely solo after destiny 1

The only thing stopping most raids from being soloable is that it requires you to be in two separate instances at once. For example Atheon, having to be in the boss room but also teleported into Mars/Venus. In RoN you can well skate across the map to bypass the two places at once requirement.

@@KirillT14 That's a bit of a poor example because Atheon is legitimately soloable. Better example is that Raids tend to have a mechanic that forces at least two people to interact with it. I.E., Plates/Brands in King's Fall, Chalice of Light in Crota's End, Leeching/Emanating Force at Rhulk, Operator/Suppressor/Nukes at Taniks/Descent, Tethers in GoS, Taken Strength at Vault/Plates at Shuro Chi.

@@bannedmann4469 No it wasn't lmao, VoG hardly had mechanics and I'm p sure was fully soloable, CE was compared to a strike because of how easy it was, and only WotM would somewhat hold up to today's standards and even then it would get shit on hard. Raids nowadays try to hone in on group play which is how raids are meant to be played, and it's ultimately been for the better. Low mans still exist, but a raid just shouldn't be entirely soloable in any capacity. We have dungeons for that.
