I have noticed that the utterance "If my opponent goes for Starport/Stargate, I'm a little bit screwed" is said by you(Thermal) in 99.99% of these cheeses. So I've been thinking two things: - 1) You need some cheeses designed specifically to hose people who are going Starport/Stargate. - 2) You need some cheeses that rush Starport/Stargate, since that cheese trumps some other cheeses. I will continue to ask for mass Vikings (with Blue Flame Hellions and/or Ghosts added in to deal with problem bio units). Nobody does it, and I think it could be an effective core army composition. Vikings en masse are effective against almost every unit in the game, even mass Corruptors since they can just land and make the Corruptor ball look stupid. Hellions and Ghosts deal with everything else low/mid tier that comes out. And I absolutely love it when Vikings fly in and land in the enemy mineral line... there's almost nothing more satisfying to watch happen.

Vikings are cost effective vs a lot of mechanical ground units. They are mediocre vs anything else. They’re too slow and fragile so they eat it pretty hard to things like roaches/hydras/lurkers/ultrasr/ravagers, marauders/marines/sieged tanks/ cyclones, and zealots/immortals/archons/disruptors/blink stalkers/high templar

Why you don't finish the ebay?

The purpose of the ebay is to block and delay the Zerg/Protoss from expanding. It does the trick even when unfinished and then when your opponent is almost done destroying it you can cancel and recover 75% of the building cost. So you basically only wind up spending like 18 minerals to delay the opponents natural by like 60-90 seconds.

It takes ~45 seconds each to build a Barracks, Factory, Starport and fusion core, not to mention 20secs for a Tech lab which has to be built on site. Then over a minute to build one BC. So you're talking 5 minutes to get 1 BC in their base. Rather than just building it normally which allows for addon swapping, and then just teleporting it.

@@NoTengoIdeaGuey The point of an interesting challenge is not to teleport it in. That's too easy. He could get the factory or rax to build the tech lab in the base, fly the building out and let the starport fly in - while the fusion core is being built.

@@ShailenSobhee Fusion Core requires a Starport to build. So the most you can shave off the time would be the 18 seconds to build the tech lab. There comes a point when "interesting challenge" fades into "essentially impossible to pull off well".
