I dont think Gorp realises that timeless relic fully amps ult, imprison and Arcane Orb damage. It even gives an extra .8 seconds on imprison, an extra 1.4 seconds of "Mana allergy debuff" from ulti, and an extra .56 seconds of hex debuff. Definitely superior to elven

@@NormalHatter kinda? OD's orb is no longer manacost but direct mana removal so pugna ward doesn't count for his autoattacks anymore. OD can get revenant brooch or bkb now and just fuck pugna up. ward still sucks for rest of pugna spells tho and ult doesn't hit as hard cuz pugna has a lotta mana but on the upside you steal more mana from him to do more damage to the rest of his team. Pugna is a soft counter, not as bad as say nyx or smth

He is a complicated hero to begin with, require several item to be a threat, and takes actual skill to be played.

@@sbrensbeve7408as in OD is a hero that only works if you have the mechanical skills to operate him. He is a very simple hero if we're talking about spells, but playing him is a very different matter. He's not complicated like Invoker or Earth Spirit, but he is also not a beginner friendly hero.

@@NormalHatterPretty much these 👍 Also the timing of his items and leveling has to be on the clock. He's not a hero that can "comeback" and pretty much (my 90% of around 100-150 games of him) are either snowballing or completely useless. The other 10% is basically like 2 heralds trying to understand their new heroes. I think Sing also said that even Icefrog himself doesn't know how to balance this hero. It's either OP as fuck or just completely dogshit.

Meme Hammer on OD feels pretty garbage these days... all it takes is one support with a stun paying attention to interrupt you and it quickly starts to feel like a waste of 2k gold and an item-slot.

You only use meme hammer for like the first 15mins to pressure towers and clear stacks. It also gives you hp regen for laning phase. You're not supposed to use it in the middle of any teamfight. 9:14 Gorp mentioned this

OD's Aghanim is pretty good for late game. It's like an expensive Aeon Disk with 60s cd.

OD passive has a % chance to gain mana back on spell cast. His arcane orb is counted as a spell and the damage is calculated as a percent of his current mana.

What is the point of the foreshadowing at the start of the video? I already decided to watch this specific video and want to be suprised by the game development. Sadly up to the point of the „spoiler“ the gameplay feels less important or even tensionless since the outcome of it is already known. Item choices etc… Am i the only one bothered by this?
