I am a user of this laptop for a month, Ryzen 5 7530u variant, and I have something really important to say about this laptop. Everything he said is a 100% truth. But he missed out on one really important point: Warranty. Yes, I know it says 1 year warranty on the Amazon page, but when we tried to register for the warranty online, it said that it had already been registered on May 30th, 2023. This means, the warranty is only applicable till May 29th, 2024 for me. I don't know if it is a one-off situation like returned laptop or something, but it has happened to me. Please do consider this point before buying this laptop, because warranty is a huge deal breaker for many people.

There has been a glut of inventory in the PC channels for the last 12-18 months. Unfortunately, AMD has been treating the Indian laptop market as second grade and been dumping all their older generation inventory like Zen 2 and Zen 3, which they have rebranded into the 7000 series, into India. Not a single Zen 4 laptop has been launched by any of the OEMs in 2023 in the mainstream segment, may be you'll find one or two in the high end gaming segment, but that too with a lot of difficulty. It's sad and the sales reps in electronic stores sell them as latest generation laptops.

I am also a user of this laptop (but I have the 14-inch model), and I extended my warranty by paying extra in the Myasus app. Now mine lasts till 2025. But personally, I feel that it's a must to give at least 2 years of warranty. I was kind of disappointed to know I have to pay extra for extended support.

For students it's best to go for refurbished laptops, with a budget of 30k you may get some good ones. If your budget is lower, then go for Lenovo ThinkPad X270, it's available for below 20k in second hand pc market

Whats the point of a proprietary charging port when it's something that can be handled by type c easily (i.e below 100 watts - though latest type c should support upto 240watts below 100 is the safe side because of the unsafe cable market)

It's a safety port, I would use the Proprietary port regularly for years so that the premium USB C doesn't have to face that same wear and tear regularly!

I want to know about the new Lenovo loq.. When I filter then to product type: configurable and brand : loq, there are 5 laptops... When I configure the cheapest one to have 16gb ram, 4050, and 1tb SSD, the total comes out to be 83K. It's display is 100% sRGB 300nits acc to site... I wanna know what's the catch? Is it underclocked cpu GPU? Something else? Why is it so cheap? Cuz I remember 12450HX RTX4050 100%srgb usually crosses 1lac easily. Why is this 80k Thnx

I think most people dont need the ryzen 7 variant, the ryzen 5 variant should be a good enough cpu for most people, unless you do cpu heavy tasks like code compile and stuff.

Tbh its better to buy older latops or laptops with older generation CPUs. Not too old but they are much cheaper than buying a new laptop and give you much better value for money. For example ive been using a lenovo thinkpad X1 carbon i7 8th gen laptop and ive had really good performance on it. Productivity work has been excellent on it. It was also able to handle some light gaming like Stardew valley, mine craft and even some emulators like SNES, NES and even psp emulators.

My recommendation would be the 14 inch variants as this has a better 16:10 more colour accurate 2k OLED screen. Also small laptop means lower deck flex.

@@rrrr3666 you need to look at the screen resolution not the screen size, the 14 inch panel is a 16:10 2k display, 15 inch is 16:9 Full HD. Both are almost the same price but 14 has the better panel.

i would rather buy MacBook air m2 which is available for 90k during offer seasons because it is going to last for at least 6-7 years if no external damage happens where as Ryzen CPU slows down pretty quick after 2 or 3 years right now I'm using MacBook air m1 (though i also have a windows desktop) which i got for 80k i have used it for 3 years and it works like new.......love it

What is the screen replacement cost Anyways - Miniled display >> Bright colour accurate and good contrast lcd >> OLED for laptops (Burn in risk go brr) Aka let us wait a few years for a cheap miniled display Oleds got here and look at how they were priced. It's the extra high amount of static elements on desktop compared to TVs and Phones that make OLED on laptops so risky (also why aren't there cheap OLED standalone monitors - those would be great so at least you have options)

Nah OLED >>> MINI LED > LCD. Burn in issue on mordern panels are regulated and you don't encounter any till 3years atleast. Just ask yourself how often you change your laptop screen ? 😂

Can someone suggest me a good video editing laptop under 1 lakh I don’t care about gaming laptops and I hate RGB setups. Ig 70-80k You need a decent to good gpu your laptop should atleast have rtx3060-70 and with a good cpu maybe i5 or i7 (atleast 12th gen) and ya it would be better if you choose h series laptop even if it is i5 🫡

Why not put 5k extra and get the 12500H evo certified one instead. Oled laptops fascinate me, I can't wait to buy one, once my current Acer Predator 17.3 inch completes 5 years. What I don't get is why other brands are not making oled laptops available, especially in India, while Asus are selling them like potatoes.

I would suggest the Ryzen H version of it That also costs around same(5-10k difference which can be lowered with time and offers) and has a dedicated graphics card and also has better built and is significantly faster I have been using the Ryzen 7 4800h one with gtx1650 since almost 2yrs and it works absolutely fine till today but now Ig they have 5000 and 6000 series with RTX graphics which ofc is even better Ya'll can check that laptop
