n this video we look at how to more damage in the first descendant
I wanted to make the first descendant increase your dps guide beacuse I think a lot of people really skip out on a very easy way to increase your damage 2 to 3x as high
The first descendant module system is really cool and if used correctly, will make you extremely powerful
burst pierce and crush damage will help you increase your damage and dps by 10%, and its a very simple thing to find out and take advantage of!

I noticed if i use pierce against burst weakness , does it make it better ? i mean third dmg type burst>pierce>crush?

something he didnt show is next to the weapon type such as hand cannon to the left the icon shows for the damage type

Okay, now it seems to make more sense to try playing with different types of weapons depending on the enemy faction. However, as I see it, some guns of a different damage type may still deal more damage than the 10% bonus. :) Also, the distribution of weapon balance in the game is a bit disappointing. For example, in Destiny 2, a machine gun is a powerful weapon with rare ammo. You have to look for other weapons for regular use. In TFD, the machine gun uses regular ammo and in my case, has a higher DPS and a larger magazine capacity than the Thunder Cage. It seems wrong that a character can casually use such powerful weapons.

Yeah, I wondered why my handcannon deals 20k crit, but other times 36k. It is 80%more. Somethings broken with this mechanic.

so the hand cannon being burst will deal green number damage to the body, but what about the destructible parts? it's hard to tell since all weak point hits are yellow (or crit), but if you shot the weak points with the hand cannon, are those numbers also technically green numbers? or would i have to shoot, say, the core cover of the swamp walker with a pierce weapon to get green numbers? do both the burst AND pierce do green damage numbers or should i save my burst ammo for in case i can't see any of his weak points to shoot with a pierce weapon? does the weak point type of the colossi as a whole override the fact that the core cover specifically is weak to pierce?

@@theowl2031 yeah that's what I said in the video, I can only assume yellow and orange have the 10% added, but the colours need to be different for the sake of knowing what's what And I don't know which takes precedent unfortunately

if you look at your weapons on the bottom it tells you what type it is to the right

So where it says Pierce weak point damage, means you need a pierce weapon? Even if the parts say Crush for example? Do you need a Crush weapon for destroying/removing parts? Or does pierce do more damage everywhere else on the boss cept for the weakpoints, and the weakpoints take more damage from Crush then?

@@chronixaggress8901 If you look at the Colossus stat menu the removable parts have their own weakness and weak points also have their own.

@@Twizzler300 Sorry I probably didnt explain myself that well. The boss shows Pierce weak point type, so yes hes weak to those weapons (green numbers everywhere you hit him). What Im confused about is the removable/destructible parts. When it shows the Burst icon on the shoulders for example. Do I use a Burst weapon to do extra damage on those shoulders or a weapon that counters Burst (So Crush)?

so you need 12 weapons total for the damage type, ammo type, and unlock all of them. Now I don't feel so bad paying for ultimate gley
