This hidden Starfield location has a secret NPC

What is this NPC doing here? Try speaking to them and they'll have something special to tell you. But don't leave the area because it turns out they're random!

Maybe she only has one line and she spawns only after you've killed the terrormorphs.

She just spawned on BITSY for me and I didn't do the teramorph mission yet but she was taking photos for her company in the middle of nowhere lol

I remember this NPC, from about a month or two ago. on NG+2 option 3, but I do not remember where they were at that time. This is like the Garvey impersonator in 4, the fake Brotherhood in 76 and now this for Starfield. While it is a nice touch, it is getting really overused at this point as well.

You can also make a base on the same map as the rig that way it should be there when you land. At least in theory. That's what i do when i want to farm spacer bases.

It seems like their are a ton of unused lines in the game. Just did the update and Immersive Brigs got a bit broken before the SFSE update. I had a couple prisoners in my ship standing around and my hired damage control specialist asking them to stay calm and saying they don't want trouble. No way I would ever have seen that without a glitch. Another time I saved right before coming to a mining operation where I was to talk a civilian out of leaviing the outpost. I failed the first time so I reloaded. I noticed Sarah made a new observation. So I did it again, and again, and again! 12 times before I just got tired of loading screens! She had a different comment on mining operations every time!

Thats not unused dialogue, that's just dialogue you would have heard elsewhere under a different but similar situation with the same voice applied to a different npc - its probably a package bug, or rather, the package is there correctly but that specific situation would not normally present itself.

I found that location really early in my first playthrough. It was a long time ago, so I don't recall what the npc said, and all dialogue was still new to me, but I don't recall it being interesting at all.

I've encountered this person and the dialogue was the same. I don't remember where but she was not in HV armor, so it probably is random.

I encountered her in the same place and had exactly the same conversation with her. I just thought it was funny that she was trying to scare me off by pretending to be me. :)

this is the only thing i've ever heard this colonist say. i'm guessing she only appears after that vanguard quest has been completed.

One time she took credit for wiping out the crimson fleet. Another was the morphs. I ran into her over a dozen times but those are the only two that stick out in my mind

After 1.1k hours on +NG13 done almost every mission i found her yesterday and it was on one of Hawkins planets and it was exactly what you got with same reaction to her comments with pick option 3.

I met this same npc just outside of Cydonia, a little while off chilling between some containers. Had the same dialogue , I think it is random though and you will probably meet a different npc at that same spot after waiting or sleeping awhile.

I think I watched your video about the place where some people thought it was based on Star Wars. The Dogstar one. I can't seem to find the planet or facility no matter how many times I've tried. I wanted to do it mainly for the XP and possible loot but "no go" now.

In Fallout 4 they have NPCs that claim to be you , very random and not repeatable in the same place .

Seen it heard it. Seems like it was someplace else though because she wasn't wearing a suit at the time for me. It was a long while after completing the Teromorphs mission. Recently in fact. Didn't think much of it. Only happened the one time. She gave me some stuff. Nothing special or memorable for my trouble. Said something like "well this is awkward" and apologized.

the new update made it so i cannot take any ships. it softlocks my game. every time.

Are you softlocjed in the ship menu? I have that issue but on pc with controller. Hitting a keyboard key unlocks it and the controller works normal again.

It's totally RNG random, and it doesn't have to be that poi. The poi + colonist were coincidence.
