50+ years ago my parents gave me a "little red chair" built this exact same way. It had a red painted top and I remember using it so much that it broke and as a child, I didn't have the skill to repair it but, I kept this broken little red chair. About a year ago I found the box of my little red chair and all of its pieces. I have since completely rebuilt this awesome little chair and I use it as a footstool in my office regularly! Great to see this design is still being used today and portrayed in such a great video! Thanks for taking me down memory lane!

I always like to make bets with myself on what it will be. I don't jump ALL the way to the end, but at the point I jumped in on, I was waiting for him to drill a large hole in the seat and put a bucket & roll of ass-wipe with it in the trunk!

I have one of these (though I bought it, didn't make it) and although we bought it for camping as a side table, it's been a table, a chair, lap harp stand, a shelf/riser for displays at home, and a puppy 'garage' (dog liked to rest under it with his tail sticking out when he was small!). Now that I see this, I think I'll make some for the cars, just to keep on hand.

Hi again Bruce. Few items I'd like to add. 1. I am not CraftMaster, I'm just a casual observer like you are. 2. I share your sentiment to "tell 'em what you're going to tell em". However, the workaround is so easy it's not a battle I want to fight. 3. It's a cute chair but in my 68 years of life I can't remember a moment where I wish I had a chair. 4. We spend too much time sitting. We should stand more. 5. If I suspect a chair might be helpful I have a Tommy Bahama beach chair that's pretty small when it folds up. 6. And finally, I'm not the US senator from Connecticut even though we have the same name.
