It's made with the Unreal Engine 5 and pre-made assets. This kid just made a level layout, nothing big.

Anybody can make games with Unity or UE5 now lol, game design is a whole other beast encompassing basic level design. What this kid has is good ideas. I bet he'll become a great game designer if he keeps going.

@@CopperCollapsed on fucking god i have a game i made on scratch that was pretty good the only reason it was shitty was cause it was on scratch and i showed it to one of my teachers and they helped show me websites and shit to make it actually have graphics and smooth gameplay so that it would be scary its like a 2 hour game but i honestly dont even know if it still really exists i know that other then my friends and other who i had play the game only about 10 other people played it but one of my buddies had a couple nightmares about the entities afterwards and two of my other homies punched a hole straight through my monitor i legit had just replaced it the day the second friend broke it

A simple but effective scary atmosphere and some well timed jumpscares, for what it is this is good game. If this kid is making games like this at 13 I wonder what they'll be making in 10 years. I hope they keep exploring the horror genre and keep playing with atmosphere and building tension.

What I will always stress to people is that children are the most creative out of anyone. A child's mind is full of things that many adults cant seem to created with all the resources in the world, and thats saying something. Theres nothing more terrifying than the mind of a child. If children are capable of playing out their imagination, dreams, and nightmares during recess, imagine what they could do if given all the resources a mobie director would have?
