Dyfi Bike Park is becoming more and more well known for it's huge downhill tracks covered in jumps, freeride features and a host of amazing pro riders like the Athertons who own and run the bike park. I went there with my twin brother Jono for two days to push the slopeduro bike to its limits. And ride some massive jumps on the short travel enduro bike. Most riders have downhill MTB builds but my bike felt so sick on the jumps. The brand new Oakley line is the biggest line in the UK and it took Dan Atherton a whole year to build! Watch the insane tricks that Alf did whilst following him on my full POV run.

I was just watching Sam Pilgrim and cut short to come watch Matt. I think the difference for me that makes Matt more enjoyable is Ben. Matt talks to the camera as a loving friend, and Ben acts as a vessel for the audience to feel included. Much love

Only anecdotal, but i've heard hip dislocations are the most painful by far (as opposed to knee, shoulder etc)

My own personal opinion here of course, but having watched all of your stuff up until now, this was absolutely your best video yet. The first time I found myself bobbing, weaving, and ducking whilst sitting on my couch with a drinkie in hand. This one legit got my heart rate up, and youre freakin wiping the lens between corners. The dislocated hip was certainly an awful way to finish the day, 5 blokes needed to torque that bastard back into the socket may be some sort of record, at least maybe at that hospital. Im glad your mate is ok, and man I cant get enough of that. Thank you

Three decade mtn biker here with a decent quiver starting with my steel framed Kona Honzo and my Transition Smuggler, what I wouldn’t give to be 30 years younger. Those lines look sick and fun but I’m retiring in 20 days and I’d rather not spend it in a full body cast. Keep it up boys it’s men like me living our dreams through your videos.

I've only ever ridden like the most basic of basic trails but I've watch multiple people uploading MTB vids and I can't deny it REALLY makes me want to get into this sport. The speed you guys glide through these trails I can only imagine are insane to the beginner rider but It's so awesome to watch!! Earned a new sub from me!

It's kinda hard to believe that a bike park like this is in the UK. As someone who started riding before bike parks even existed, then saw the first ones with 30 second downhill runs this just blows my mind. These runs wouldn't look out of place in Canada!

Hey Matt, while I'm one that's always saying that most people are way over-biked these days and love your thinking with the SlopDuro build for most trails, I think that on these massive, rough jump trails, designed for bigger travel bikes, it's a bit of a "Knife to a Gunfight" type deal. Hope your ankle heals up man and "Chubbie's" hip doesn't give him any trouble down the road - have hip issues, not fun.

A word of advice to anyone planning to route a front brake through their steerer tube, as far as possible make sure you've decided what stem, headset, stack height you're running first. It's a PITA having to re-plumb your front brake every time you need to remove your stem/forks/headset etc...

Hope that guy who did the flip is aright. Had a hip injury at my bike park a week and a half ago, and those are some serious stuff to deal with. Luckily our park has ambulances that can arrive in around 8 minutes, so we got him on pain meds and to the hospital quite quickly, but it’s still quite a scary injury to treat, let alone to endure yourself. Best of luck.
