For instance, words like "independent" signify the absence of dependence. Yet, there seems to be an absence of terms like "interdependent" or "interconnected," signifying our evolving dependencies-from the maternal womb (most dependent) to financial in_dependence from parents, only to become reliant on paychecks, employers, customers, the planet, the solar system, the galaxy, and beyond (least dependent on mater). Another example is "individuality" (not divided in Latin, but is hard not to notice the "duality" in it...English language has become an interface to colonize and exploit "human resources" from older civilizations...
